Hey Guys,

i need your help...
i'm using thunderbird to pull my (2) office emails from gmail (we are using the google app for that)
for some reason...my computer kinda stopped pulling from Imap but i can still send emails...i can still pull my pop hotmail on thunderbird.

I've tried numerous ways...
I've turned off my antivirus and firewall (eset smartsecurity)
I've tried downloading a opera mail and tried outlook as well...but i still cant pull.
I've tried checking and cross checking the imap url and port...
I've tried on my other computer, but it pulls as it should be...
I'm still able to send email from the web based email

Pls help!!! i prefer to pull my emails and sometimes read it offline.

Unable to Unhide folders

hello guys,

here's the prob my fren's comp was infected by virus but after cleaning the virus, he was unable to show hidden file in his comp doing the usual tools>folder options>show hidden files and folders.every time he click on it and apply,there are no changes...and when he close the window and open a new window the folder option went back to do not show hidden files and folders

is there anyway to do it?
is there anyway like typing a code or something like dat to make it appear again just like the codes to make task manager appear if they r disabled

if u refer to the pic u will know d...i dunno wat is wrong...i dont suspect it is a virus... and it works by using the system restore but i comes back after a few days...EVERYTIME! then i hv to system restore again and forced to update my virus definition as well as my antispyware...any1 has any idea? btw here's my hijackthis

hey guys..i think it is the latest outbreak... my frens seems to kena virus.. the same 1 to be exact.. any1 knows how to clear it?
nod32 detected it and it cant delete the virus running in win32..

the file autorun.vbs has been infected...and i cant seem to open my drives from my computer.. help!

ok guys..i installed some stuff..n it screws up....so i tot we can system restore n voila..back to normal...but i cant seem2b able2do it...there r restore points but when i click on it to restore...after it runs n reboot my comp..it says dat i cant restore to that point....i tried a few points n it cant work too...any ideas?

cant detect pendrive after disable the password

alright...here's the prob...my uncle is in hong kong..he msn me about this prob..so i'm helpin him thru online....
he bought a 1gb pendrive from PENDRIVE with build in password "software"
he set the password and used it for a while la...but leh....he decided to disable the password....after disabling the password....he cant detect his pendrive anymore...
he tried with other pc also cant detect it....
any ideas?

windows media player lost in toolbar list

i have this minor problem here...i just installed wmp11 beta2...for the 1st few time..when i minimise my wmp11...it will minimize into a small player on my taskbar...then dunno y or when...suddenly when i minimize...it minimizes and become just like other programs when they r minimized...(hope u get the picture)
as usual i tot some prog might hv disabled the options on my toolbar...BUT...manatau that wmp11 is not even in the list?is there anyway i can force him out

hey guys..i'm using a linksys BEFW11S4 wireless+4 port router...i just recently signed up for jaring wireless broadband..now i wanna setup the router..can anyone help me..if possible...list down the steps 1 by 1..cos i'm a noob...pls keep instructions simple and in order...

i can directly connect to the internet by just plugging the network cable to my notebook without login or anything like dat to jaring...meanin..its kinda like plug n play...but now i want to add a router to it..how do i do it?
