1st time posting topic in LYN.
1st time posting photos in forum.
1st time shooting portrait [officially].
1st time joining all the sifu-s.
1st time PS (framing only).

Task Manager menu disabled!

Hi all!

I think i'm infected with virus! How do i fix this? My task manager has been disabled! and my folder options, regedit.exe, gpedit.msc and services.msc also have been blocked!

My task manager toolbar got disable

Hi All,

Something has got my task manager's top toolbar disabled. Is this a spyware or virus? (refer to attachment)

It only occurs on my own user name but not in safe mode or other user names. I tried to scan it with updated Spyware Doctor, PC Tools Antivirus, Windows Defender and Spyware Remover but still couldn't search it out.

I have used the command prompt to view my currect system processes but i don't find any suspective processes, or in fact i don't know how to define which process is harmful.

How to configure my router connected to Streamyx?

Hi all,

i'm facing a problem where i couldn't configure my newly bought Linksys router, which is connected to th Streamyx's modem/router. The Internet ISP configurations are properly done on the modem/router and it works fine.

After attaching the router on the modem/router, i just couldn't obtain the Internet services. I have tried assigning DHCP on both routers, or a static IP on the Linksys router but still failed.

I have consulted an IT salesguy and the advice is not to connect router, but a switch, to the modem/router. There's still a way to configure the Linksys router to be a layer-2 bridge.

Anyone, any ideas?

How IE caches XML Files?

Hi All,

I'm having a problem that my browser fetches files slowly that it downloads the XML files frequently everytime i visit the sites.

Anyone has idea that how IE caches .xml files or how do i configure this properly so that the xml files are cached inside my local machine?
