Need urgent feedback bank payment release process

Hi all,

I've decided to sell my car on my own, and have found a buyer. The buyer has appointed a dealer to do the running job. Up to date ,bank loan has been approved, Puspakom check has been completed, and ownership transfer has been completed on my part. Tomorrow, the buyer will proceed to do the transfer on his part.

According to the dealer, the bank will only release payment to them, after I handover the vehicle to the buyer, then only they will pay me the money. Is that the case? When I spoke to the JPJ runner earlier, he told me that the bank will release payment to the dealer after the buyer completed the ownership transfer.

My main concern is that after I handover the vehicle to the buyer, the dealer will drag my payment indefinitely. I insisted that I will only handover the car to the buyer, when I get the payment, but the dealer told me bank will only release payment when I handover the car. Please advise, thank you.
