Prices courtesy of Idealtech and based on the news online, the high prices are due to manufacturers joining in on the scalping bandwagon and it's not the local resellers' fault. Idealtech is the only one to have the prices for the 5070 Ti listed at the moment but they are only sold as a bundle so don't expect to find these for sale as standalone items in Lazada or Shopee. You might find a few from unfamiliar sellers at much more inflated prices though. The only 'good' news is that the prices of used 4070/Ti/4080 will go down a little once stocks for these new cards stabilize in a few months. As a reminder, the prices for a 5070 Ti were supposed to start at 750 USD or roughly RM 3.5k.

The thermal paste has been changed and the card works well but there is some rust on the backplate and the HDMI clip. It doesn't affect functionality or signal quality but please refer to the photos before purchasing it.

Rust on GPU

I bought a second-hand card recently and I noticed rust on the backplate which I assumed wasn't a problem but when I opened up the GPU to clean it, I noticed some rust on the HDMI port clip. Will this rust eventually spread onto the PCB and cause a problem? I don't see any rust on the other end of the card, just the backplate side. I've read that boards should have a protective layer but I'd like to ask just in case.

Item(s) conditions: Bought in 2013 and has been used in both office and home using AVR/UPS. It was originally sold as a complete PC last month but the buyer complained about a buzzing sound from the PSU. I tried it under load at home but I couldn't replicate the problem and it worked fine during benchmarking but please bear in mind that this is an old PSU. I highly suggest using an AVR/UPS if you plan on using this.
