RM1 charge for adding CC to appstore?

Hi guys,
I just got the Citibank CC which offers the 50% rebate up to RM 250 for the 1st transaction.
I added my CC details to Paypal and Appstore Apple ID and i got charged RM 1 for the Paypal and RM 1 from Itunes!!

WTF!! I called customer service and he told me for Paypal the transaction is a deposit so it won't be considered as 1st transaction, but he's not sure about the Itunes transaction.

Anyone knows if the RM 1 is a deposit or a transaction? I don't want to bloody blow my RM 250 rebate on 50 cents!! ;(
anyone knows what to do? call Apple to cancel the transaction?

delay in receiving iSMS/whatsapp msgs/viber calls?

I'm currently using Iphone 4 iOS 5.01, and a few weeks ago this problem arise...
Sometimes you won't receive any alert/notification for msg and calls until after you open the app/sms icon, or most of the times the msgs won't even come in until 5-10 mins later, even as long as 1-2 hours.
I'm using Digi, and i know they suck... but does anyone else have this problem? Not sure if it's my phone or Digi's fault >_<

p.s -
don't tell me about checking settings for notification alerts etc, because there is absolutely no problems in that area..

iOS5 - Loud screeching sound when facetime/call?

Anyone faces the similar problem? Ever since i updated to IOS5 for me and my gf, whenever we facetime she receives a really loud screeching sound that almost damaged her ears
It happens every single time i use bluetooth headset, and also sometimes when i use normal headset or even in speaker mode. At first i thought it was the bluetooth headset problem, but after it happened when i use normal headset and speaker i think it has something to do with the firmware?
the thing is that i never received the sound, only my gf has it.

anyone knows a solution? the sound has been really making my gf grumpy and pissed =.=

Noticed there isn't any topic catering to apps for music fanatics for iPhone, so I thought I'd start a thread for all the rockers and philharmonicas to hangout, share and discuss!

1) Music Studio ($14.99)
- probably the best app ever albeit quite costly. If you're serious of composing your own music, may it be orchestra scores to rock songs or even a blend of both! This app is a must buy! There are various instruments available for use, from violin to string ensemble and lead electric guitar(even power chords) to rock drums. Added with an effects section where you get to adjust the overdrive and reverb and even a delay 1/8 dotted+ or triple! Lots of details and control over each instruments sound!
Ever wonder how you can have a bend pitch effect from a guitar or string instruments? Surprise! This app uses the axle gyro to produce the awesome bend sounds! Tilt slowly or fast down or up to create the kind of bend pitch you want!

If you're afraid that the sound of instruments sound digital or fake, don't be! Apparently the developer hired professional musicians for each instrument to get the real sound (16bit 44.1khz)
Additional 40 instruments in-app purchase for another $14.99, or just choose individually the instrument you're interested in buying.

These are just few of the awesome features in this app, even pros use it! (Jason Hayes lead composer of World of Warcraft started one if his compositions with this app)

This is a powerful mini desktop app that is a definite must have!

2) Guitartoolkit ($9.99)
- a handy app which includes a guitar tuner, metronome and tons of guitar chords for you to learn with fingering position and even how it sounds like

3) Tabtoolkit ($9.99)
A great app for guitarist. Bring your tabs on the go, and download/read from sites like ultimate-guitar etc. Best part of this app is that it uses an engine to read and play Guitarpro and Powertab just like you see in desktop software application! Listen to the instruments while the tab plays itself!

4) Amplitube ($19.99)
I've yet to try this although I have the free version. You require a special cable 'IRig' to hook your guitar to the phone and phone to amp. An app for electric guitarist who likes having their effect pedals on the go. Useful and from videos it looks (sounds) not bad! Don't expect it to replace your dedicated pedals, but it's a great toy nevertheless.

5) Polytune ($4.99)
Another guitar tuner like Guitartoolkit, but a more advanced version? Strum a chord and it'll tell you which string is out of tune.

Downgrading OS 4.2 to 4.1 without jb

wifi disconnects when autolock/sleep

Like the topic says, anyone have the same problem? I found a few people who have this

whenever my ipod autolocks after 2 mins, my wifi disconnects when i unlock it. The wifi icon is still there, but my IM apps like beejive and nimbuzz disconnects. Also when i try to load pages in safari, it says 'safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding'
The only way i could connect back is either to renew lease in network settings or wait for 5 minutes for the IM apps to connect to the wifi again...

i thought os4.1 says wifi doesnt disconnect when asleep? my push notification is on, and also idle settings for beejive is set at 12 hours. I tried resetting network settings to default but still the same.
anyone knows how to fix this?

and i dont think theres a problem with the router wifi since my laptop doesnt disconnects then..

and before you recommend me apps like insomnia, i dont intend to jailbreak for the moment... and i would like to know the root of the problem if its a defect or firmware bug?
