/k/ it's my first time doing internship in Malaysia, and i got an offer of 1k MYR / month thru out the duration of my internship.

Previously did my intern overseas, and pay is like 15-20 usd an hour.. so is 1k MYR normal rate in Malaysia?

Doing intern in Malaysia because I'm going back to malaysia for holidays, so might as well make it productive

Fellow /k/ sifus, i got a summer internship in Company A and I'm almost done with it. Company A offered me to come back next year for another Summer internship and very high possibility offering me a job after graduation.

Thru Company A I discovered Company B, which is like a major player too in the industry. Company B too offer internship.

Question is whether to stick with Company A next year or try doing an internship at Company B?

Both Company A and Company B are equally major players in the industry in the US

I don't dislike company A, I like them but I feel like learning more about the industry instead of sticking to one company

Hi /k/, I recently went overseas for studies and the SSD here are cheap. Like 90 USD for 250GB on amazon.

Im currently using a old laptop which has i5 450M with a 335m gpu

BUT RUNNING A SHITTY 5400Rpm hdd. You guys think that it is worth upgrading this lappy to SSD? Or just buy a new laptop?

Laptops with ssd here eg: XPS 13 will cost 800 usd at least...

I cant decide which university to choose Curtin "sarawak" or Monash "subang".

The fees are cheaper for Curtin but i have to pay for the living cost and all. For monash i live in subang so..

Are both universities good for engineering? Somehow Monash is more famous than Curtin in Malaysia.

Planning to buy new phone. After doing research xperia z and nexus 4 looks and have great functions.
Smooth but feel like trying out windows phone. I dont really use any app. Never play games at all only use Insta, and social media and of coz whatsapp.
I also heard that windows live not officially in Malaysia is it true i cant use certain function in Lumia?
