Sync Center problem

Hi, I need assistance here. I'm trying to backup my contact in Microsoft Outlook by sync. But Windows Vista Sync Center doesn't allow sync contact. It only allow me to sync Music with Window Media Player.

I have tried to install Microsoft Active Sync software, but the operating system MS Vista wouldn't allow me to do so.

Please assist - how to sync contact using Sync Center in Windows Vista?

My 2 years old Dopod M700 just die on me today. It can not detect the sim card & error message appeared "Unknown SIM Status". I tried putting the sim card into another phone & it worked. So, it can't be the problem of sim card.

Can anyone recommend me where the best place to get it fix since I don't have enought budget to change to HTC Touch HD...yet?
