Everyone involved in construction and project type business will know that there is always some amount of retention sum (usually 5-10% of contract sum) is held by client until the project is totally completed, while for constructor , they have a risk having the sum 5-10% being held by client.

This sum can have a very high chance of becoming un-collectible bad debts or losing the interest rate , or giving company hard time to get the funding for the company's operation.

I wonder anyone here can comment or give opinion on how to reduce this risk ?

anyone have this experience to quit ur job even before you get any job offer or attend any interview ?

you just decide to quit the job impulsively due to dissatisfaction with current work, frustrated to some managements' decision etc etc...

and also share the tips on how you interview when ppl like to ask u : " y u quit ur current job"
of coz you wouldn't say the answer in ur mind as it might makes u seems so naive and immature !

hi everyone, may i know how does this discount work ? has been paying consistently but seems like the statement never reduce

for this discount do we need to apply ? how bout the 10% discount ....does it means that we pay consistently, the 10% will automatic deducted from our staement?

Belanjawan 2013 : Diskaun mudahkan bayaran PTPTN

Beberapa insentif berupa pemberian diskaun akan diperkenalkan bagi memudahkan proses pembayaran balik pinjaman Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN), kata Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Najib, yang juga Menteri Kewangan berkata insentif pertama adalah diskaun 20 peratus daripada jumlah pinjaman kepada peminjam yang menyelesaikan hutang sekali gus dalam tempoh setahun bermula 1 Okt 2012 hingga 30 Sept 2013.

"Manakala, bagi mereka yang membayar pinjaman secara konsisten mengikut jadual mulai 1 Okt 2012, diskaun 10 peratus setahun akan diberikan," katanya ketika membentangkan Belanjawan 2013 di Dewan Rakyat hari ini.

Perdana Menteri turut mengingatkan para peminjam bahawa hukum membayar hutang adalah wajib dan pinjaman PTPTN merupakan satu amanah.

Bagi menggalakkan sikap menabung untuk pendidikan, Perdana Menteri berkata pelepasan cukai sebanyak RM3,000 bagi Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN) sedia ada juga akan dinaikkan kepada RM6,000

dear all,

M in a dilemma choosing between two career, 1st option is to work as auditor in Crowe Horwarth and 2nd option is to work as account assistant in a MNC.

all i can say is mnc offer a very good salary as compared to the audit job, but my concern is i never do any audit job b4 and straight joined in commercial would it be make me less competitive when i wan to fight for higher position in future (such as manager, financial controller or even director )

most of the ppl will say audit will give u better chance to get higher position as compare to those who never do audit b4? is this true? or working in commercial and the accumulate experience in commercial will give value added to our self?

share ur advice/opinion/thoughts/ etc

my lappy restart on it own suddenly , after show a small piece of blue notice (just flash on my screen in less than 1 second) , it is unlikely a blue screen , but how to solve this problem T.T
