Connecting Astro Byond to 2 TVs

Hi guys,

Planning to connect the Astro Byond decoder to 2 TVs:
1. HDMI cable to main TV, and
2. RCA (cable with red, white & yellow connectors) or wireless to 2nd TV in the kitchen (open clear distance 50 feet)

Have any of u guys tried this?

Any advices to consider on item 2 above:
1. Can RCA cable carry acceptable signal quality over 50 feet?
2. Where to buy customized 50 feet RCA cable?
3. Which wireless transmitter & receiver model to get?
4. Where to get the wireless transmitter & receiver?
5. Any other advices.

How can I avoid swapping sim cards?

Hi all. I've just obtained a 3G broadband sim card with unlimited data pkg without voice service from streamyx + celcom broadband package. fyi i'm currently using a palm centro (non-3G) & a plain 3G SE with 2 diff telco lines. i'm swapping the 3G sim with the sim in the centro to get online while on the move & swapping the sim in the SE when I need a 3G USB modem to use with my notebook. looks like i need to reorganise my devices.

my requirements:
1. stop swapping the sim cards
2. get a pda for data use (browsing, messenger, email, etc.) with 3G usb modem function.
3. maintain both existing phone lines active.
(all must be slim types - can't carry 3 bulky devices in my pockets)

my option now is to:
1. get a 3G pda
2. use 2 cheap plain 3G phones (+1)

Anyone can suggest
1. the type of 3G pda suitable for my requirement
2. options other than carrying 3 devices in my pockets
3. how can i continue to use my palm centro with the above requirements?

extended warranty (1+2) for compaq m2252?

hi all,

bought a compaq presario m2252 at lyp last 2 weeks. part of the promo is to include 1 + 2 (total 3 yrs) warranty. however upon checking with hp support they say that my notebook (gave them my serial no) only has 1 year warranty. called the shop & they said that the warranty will be in the system in 1 months time later.

anyone have a similar experience here? any truth to the claim made by the shop?
there were a few shops which sold the same notebook with the same promo but at diff prices (slight diff).
