Disney+ Hotstar Lagging But At My House Only

Ok, I installed disney+ hotstar app on my Mi Box S. When I try to stream at my house, Taman Bukit Serdang, the app keep loading and lagging, and most of the time cannot stream.

But when I bring the box back to my hometown, the app can be played smoothly, with no issue

Fyi, both houses installed with Unifi 30mbps.

I tried to reset my port couple of times but the problem still keep happening. What do you guys think? The problem is on my box or the internet connection?

Need contractor for toilet problem

Hello guys, I really really need help. Could you guys please recommend me good contractor that can spot a problem and fix my toilet?

I renovated my toilet 2 years ago but suddenly the tenant downstair said there was leaking. And yes, I can see the wet spot outside the toilet from the balcony. I tried to contact my previous contractor who did my toilet, but he seemed ‘not interested’ to fix the problem. I’m so dissapointed right now that I need to find a new one who willing to do the job.

The thing is, all the piping are inside the tiled-walls. So should you guys have any recommendation, please please help me 😢

Small renovation advices needed

Hey guys! I'm planning to do a small renovation to my studio apartment. It's only 450 sqft and I only wanna do:

1) Simple plaster ceiling
2) Simple kitchen cabinet
3) Toilet retiling

I just wanna ask for advice from all the sifus, should I hire contractor or not? Or should I contact each specialist to do each task? If so, do you guys have recommended person who can do each job? Thanks in advance!

Ok, this is kinda weird. I love to read articles on MarieClaire.com, Elle.com & Cosmopolitan.com and I can't access those website at my house, on Unifi. Surprisingly, when I at the office, I can access the web with no problem. At first I thought it was my computer but apparently, the web can't be accessed by phone too (using the same wifi connection (3G it will load just fine).

Permanent purple spots on iPhone 5 camera

Guys, after 2 years owning iPhone 5, I discovered a problem with my camera today. When I took a picture, I found several purple dots appearing on the camera. At first I thought it was glitters (I decorate my room yesterday) but unfortunately, they were not. After took some times googling, I found lots of people had this similar problem. And the dots look similar too. Oh, I just updated to 8.2 yesterday.

Is there any LYN member here has their lens affected with this problem too? I don't know what to do since I don't have a plan to change my phone yet.. HELP!

Downloading Rate Keep Decreasing Since Yesterday!

I downloading a TV show since yesterday but the download rate keep decreasing and finally what I got is 5kbps! WTF?? In the office also it's happening. I feel so mad.

I'm using 516kbps at home, but usually I will get 50kbps download rate.

Anyone experience it?

Facebook Notifications Problem.

Ok, the story is, my Facebook notification isn't show up eventhough I have something coming (if I check on the website la). So my friend suggested me to log out from the application, do a battery pull, and log in back. So yes, I got back my notifications. But somehow, it will lost again about 2 days later and it happened like 3 times. I don't know whether it's about the application problem (since I upgraded to the latest one) or BIS problem... And somehow it keep coming back then stop, keep coming back and stop. Haish...

So did you guys experienced the same thing? Or is it just me?

Facebook For Blackbbery is Acting Up?

I have problem to get updates when I run my FB app on my Bold 9700. It's been 2 days. I received notifications and all that but I can't view any comment from the notifications. It's just only me or what? I'm so fed up with the app since last early of this month when Facebook in the process of changing the layout.

The alternative? Mobile web! That's not make me happy at all...

Hey there! Welcome to Blackberry 101 Class. This subject falls under BB101, which will provide the BB-convert and those soon-to-be, all the BASICS information about the Blackberry smartphone. Ok guys, let's go!

PART A

You are planning to buy a Blackberry smartphone. Anyhow, you don't have any idea on Blackberry. It's like a completely alien for you. Here I list down basic steps as a guide for new BBians out there.

1. What Is Blackberry
According to Wikipedia, BlackBerry is a line of wireless mobile devices developed by Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM). While including smartphone applications (address book, calendar, to-do lists, etc.) as well as telephone capabilities on newer models, the BlackBerry is primarily known for its ability to send and receive e-mail wherever it can access a wireless network of certain cellular phone carriers. It commands a 20.8% share of worldwide smartphone sales, making it the second most popular platform after Nokia's Symbian, and is the most popular smartphone among business users. Somehow, its target audience is expanding today.

2. Where To Buy A Blackberry Device?
You have 2 major choice when it comes to where to buy a Blackberry device. From the telcos and from the retailers. From the telcos including Maxis, Celcom, and Digi. Whereby, you may also buy the device from other retailers such from Lowyat Plaza, Digital Mall, Sg. Wang Plaza and other phone retailer who also sell Blackberry device.

Note: There's no different in term of specifications buying Blackberry device from telcos or from retailers but there's issue in term of warranty. The telcos will provide you at least a year period of warranty and you can claim from them if you have experience any problem regarding your device. But, if you planning to buy from retailer, you have to consider that they will not provide any warranty or warranty under the retailer only.

3. I Bought My Device. Yay! Is it unlocked?
What is unlocked? Unlocked here means, you may use the device with any telco you want. Same as normal phone. If you buy your device from the telcos, it is 100% unlocked. But if you buy it from the retailers, please ask them whether your device is unlocked or not. Click here to find more how to check whether your device is unlocked or not.

4. My Device Has Tattoo!
Tattooed device is normal. Retailers brought them from overseas and sell them here in Malaysia. Most of the tattoo including T-Mobile, Vodafone, Verizone and Roagers. Most of the telcos sell devices with no tattoo, but so far, only Celcom has Vodafone tattoo on its devices.

PART B

Now you have a Blackberry smartphone! In order to fully utilize your phone, you have to subscribe to BIS (Blackberry Internet Service). Here I list down basic things that you really have to know before you subscribe to BIS.

1. What is BIS?
BIS is a service that allows POP3 and IMAP email integration for the personal user. It allows up to 10 email accounts to be accessed, including many popular email accounts such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL. There are also special bundles for just Myspace, Facebook, & MSN as well.

2. My Device Has WiFi Function. I Don't Need BIS.
You are WRONG honey. Blackberry device is not like normal device which can use the WiFi connection instead of network mobile internet. If you not subscribe to BIS, you can't even use the WiFi function. All the apps, messengers, all cannot be used. Even you can't send and received MMS. In other word, without subscribing to BIS, your Blackberry device is just like a normal phone. Read more here.

3. What Telco Provides BIS?
- Maxis
- Celcom
- DiGi

All those are for postpaid users. If you are prepaid user, here are telcos that provide BIS for prepaid users.
- Hotlink
- Xpax
- DiGi Blackberry Prepaid

4. How Do I Know When my BIS Is Activated?
You may find that you activated when edge turns to EDGE, or 3g turns to 3G with BB logo.

According to Sonyclie77, sometimes even when you see EDGE in caps, you might not be connected to the BIS network. To check, please do the following:

- BlackBerry menu - Manage Connections - Service Status
- Under BlackBerry Internet Service, it should read:
- Connection: Mobile Network.
- Then you're connected to the BIS network.

According to kchow24, to confirm your BIS is working, you may also check this:
- Option,
- Advanced Option,
- Host Routing Table

The table should show you some kind of code numberings, that mean your BIS is ON, if no data, call your telco and complain.

5. BB PIN?
In every Blackberry device, there will be a PIN. This PIN is needed if you want to use Blackberry Messenger. The PIN is already there in your device. According to kchow24, at the Home screen, by pressing "alt" + "shift" + "H". It's will show the phone data and etc.

Extra : The pin will stay in the device. It can't be wipe off or it can't be erased.

Now you have completed the course! The next step is to enjoy your device! Don't forget to say hi at Blackberry Community and leave your details. You will be invited to LYN Group on BBM. BeBuzz Problem With LED Indicator

Guys, I downloaded BeBuzz for free and installed it. Then I realized that when I activate the BeBuzz the LED indicator (Green, Red) is not working. So, I delete the app. But the problem is, it has it archive some kind of icon in my download folder.

Please help me, Bold 2.

P/S : Is there any way to keep my LED indicator blinking and at the same time activate the BeBuzz?

I think I wanna be Blackberry convert soon, so I really need details about these phones, and so far I've done lots of research from Youtube mostly about Blackberry. I'm a Maxis user, and I'm under my mother (her supp-line). Ok this is my questions:

1. Do I have to change my plan from supplementary to stand alone plan to use Blackberry?
2. If I love to tweet and facebook, is that enough to take Standard BIS Service?
3. Hope you all will share to me about your data usage, I mean, how much do you use per month.
4. Is that ok to buy phone at retail shop than register BIS later?

Amazon.com Can Be Trusted?

I'm really new into online shopping and I've done several couple of months ago, but locally. My cousin needs this book and she found that the only source that she can get is from Amazon. What I really concern about is can we trust Amazon and I really want to know people's experiences buying item from Amazon. And, does paying by credit card is the best way to pay?
