Didn't have any issue before this.

I've verified this issue is not present with Maxis broadband.

Anyone having the same issue?

Apple 2-factor authentication SMS blocked by Maxis

I have two-factor authentication turned on for all of my Apple IDs. Previously until a day before this thread is created, I've had no problem receiving the SMS sent by Apple to my iPhone 6S Plus.

The SMS essentially gives me a code to enter whenever I log in to Apple's iTunes or iCloud accounts and other Apple's online services. But today, it no longer works.

I had other mobile numbers tied to this Apple ID, and when I chose my DIGI phone number to receive the SMS, it delivered without any problem, as it should be.

I called Maxis Helpline, and spoke to a CSO. He basically told me he will reset my line from his end and advised me to reset the network settings on my iPhone, which I knew from the start was never gonna work because it wasn't my phone's problem, because my wife's maxis line couldn't receive the SMS either. So it's not the phone's problem, but a problem with Maxis. Anyhow, I did as he said, and guess what? Still no SMS.

I called Maxis again and surprisingly got the same CSO again. I asked him if he remembered me since I called in 3 mins ago? NOPE! He said. I couldn't believe my ears! I told him what he instructed me to do did not work and to file my report to the engineers and asked for a case number. He said there is no case number. I mean WHAT? NO CASE NUMBER FOR A REPORT I MAKE? How are the engineers suppose to work on the issue then? He said everything is tied to my phone number and all I had to do in the future is just to give my number to Maxis and they will be able to give an update to this. He said he will pass on this report to the engineers and will get back to me within 5 working days IF if there is an update. So basically if the engineers couldn't figure out the issue, that means I have to call again and describe my problem to a new CSO every time? The CSO was genuinely uninterested and his monotonous voice gave me an impression he really couldn't give a damn about my problem. I was truly disappointed by his attitude, but will give Maxis and him the benefit of a doubt and wait for 5 days for them to figure out the problem.

The SMS sent by Apple in questioned that is blocked by Maxis has the number +35699189044.

So [@Maxis], if you are hearing this, please investigate this matter since without being about the receive the SMS, I will not be able to log in to my iTunes and iCloud account when I'm mobile. I'm sure I'm not the only Apple user who relied on this SMS service, so essentially this is causing many Maxis customers headaches. So please fix this!
