Dear fellow Lowyatians, currently I have a fren who is suffering from this illness. She is currently on medication but I feel that if she keeps relying on medication, it'll be worst for her health. I read from wikipedia that this is a type of mental illness. And mosly occurs on women. I am worried of her. And I'm here to seek guidance on successful ways to overcome this illness.

Keeping tank at cool temperature

Hi guys.. i'm working in a shop that sellls live baits consisting of fishes and prawns for anglers and lately i noticed that my fishes and prawns are dying. I suspect that it might be the temperature and i've checked the internet which says that the DO(density of oxygen) in a tank became less when the water is at a warmer temperature and the number of bacterias increase as temperature increase as well. Currently i have 3 big plastic tanks with the measurement of 1.5m x 1.5mx 1 m(width x length x height).

anyone can help me out in how to cool the water in the aquarium tank? Thanks

URGENT help regarding installation of Ubuntu 6.06

hey there. i nid help regarding ubuntu and linux programming in C asap. anyone here that is free and willing to help me out? If can, I'd like to add u guys into my msn or ym coz i have lots of Q to ask. and one of them is regarding instalation of ubuntu in the same HDD with my existing win XP.

From the image attached, i have 5GB spared to instal / and 510mb for swap. The remaining are my windows partition. What i wanted to know is if i mount them like on the picture before the instalation og ubuntu, will it overwrite my windows partition, causing data loss in my windows and causing error to it?

FLASH: how to implement sound slide show with xml

Tools used: XML + Actionscript(FLASH 7/8)

I'm actually doing this for my project. So i'm wondering if anyone her can teach me how to implement a program as stated above using flash. It's like making a flash card. So when u move to the next slide(card) by clicking the next button, there will be a different picture and different sound.

I manage to find one but it only can loads images. Please help. Thank you.

My 250GB harddisk become 160GB

Anyone care to help me on this? I formatted my newly bought harddisk. Format it clean and partitioned it into 7-8 partition with each about 30-40GB. Everything was fine... till a week later.... my HDD suddenly keep restarting and then finally cannot boot. I tot it was my hardware problem.. check.. no problem. So i formatted the whole harddisk again. And this time... only 160GB was detectable.

I then tried to put it in my housemate's computer as secondary but he can read the missing partition and summore access the files. And i can even copy the files to my new re-created partition. Anyone care to explain this phenomenon? I'm using WD 8mb buffer.

So i received an e-mail from a fren few months back about a new mobile phone that's coming out to the market developed by SE. But wait so long adi... still not yet out.

Asking for suggestions about building a web system

Dear comrades.... currently i've been given a project to do related with web designing. It's sumthing like amazon.com . Can anyone suggest me what language to use? I plan to use PHP. But i'm afraid of the database linking error and session error.

i wanan ask, is there anyway that can retrieve datas from a colum in a table and then sum them all up?

i'm doing a project realted with finance which collects data from two diff table, and then sums them up together in the 3rd form.

anyoen can suggest me how to create this "algorithm" o show me how to do it?

What i want it to be: I actually want the login screen to check n see if the username n pw is keyed in o not first, else it will just output a msg box and nothing else.

Problem: It not only output the msg box asking to enter user n pw... but it oso out put the rest of the msg box as well.

Question: how do i stop the program from outputing the rest? I tried inserting the 'END' command but no can do.. zzz

guys... i'm new at vb 6.0.. so basically need help. I've designed a form where after clicking on the login button, the program will authenticate the user name and password before bringing the user to a new form.

my prob is .... i dunno how to make that command button to bring the user to the second form which i've created.

How do you display the current time of your computer in C program? How do you send instruction to the server from client asking for time? and where do you implement it at? i'm noob at this =.=
