Designing my experiment

Now, I'm studying adsorption capacity of a bio-material, the adsorbate I'm studying is heavy metal pb to be exact. The equipment I'm going to use to analyse the concentration of metal in sample is atomic absorption spectroscopy. I had developed a calibration curve, it doesn't agree (lower) with secondary standard solution (more reliable). Lower means that there's some kind of losses some where. So the problems are either:

1. Reagent used is not pure enough
2. Dilution is not correct or not accurate enough
3. Container (glass ware) is not suitable
4. Method in storing sample is not in correct (temperature)
5. Unknown interference with AAS equipment

This could lead to,

1. Ridiculously high adsorption of the bio-material (because of the error)

I need guides on,

1. Lead nitrate stock solution preparation (This is cheaper compare to buying one)
2. Verification of the concentration of the stock prepared
3. Potential contribution to the error

[request] personal development sub-forum

I found out that most forum has no column for personal-development..below is definition from wikipedia

Personal development is a process of individual self-development and the development of others. At the level of the individual, personal development includes goals, plans or actions oriented towards one or more of the following aims:
* improving self-awareness
* improving self-knowledge
* building or renewing identity
* developing strengths or talents
* identifying or improving potential
* building employability or human capital
* enhancing lifestyle or the quality of life
* fulfilling aspirations
* defining and executing personal development plans

Perhaps we can build a sub-forum where people can share books, video, and picture, share their success experience, gather the people willing to help and those who needs help, publish motivational seminar events and etc. Anything that help to build the community at individual level.

The only reason is because there's always room for improvement.

People, any suggestion on how to get out of the same old stupid cycle of friend? In the cool and least damage way? Because it seems that friends in this group are building up so much ego i don't feel fun being part of it.
