This is my first time being asked to do so. May I know where can I do such? Can I go to PathLab to do so? And what kind of checkup that needs to be done? Hope some of you guys can shed some light on me. And just wondering, is it the cost bear by myself? Thanks.

e160e detected as cd-rom

i successfully installed the modem on my desktop running on winxp pro sp3 and able to use it without any further problems.

however, when i tried to use it with my company's laptop it is detected as a cd-rom instead of huawei modem. i asked the technical guys and they say they do not block anything in the laptop and shouldn't have any issues with it.

i've tried a few times installing it to my laptop but to no prevail. i even install the driver that i found in the modem first, but still my modem is detected as a cd-rom. any idea why is this happening?
