Blue Tiles and Reddish Screen (BSOD later)

I'm having a screen which looks reddish in colour with thick blue tiles and I've tried using another monitor with the same result. I think it might be the graphic card's problem. I have a graphic card installed, XFX 9800GT, around 3~4 years old, but I'm guessing the card should withstand longer than this (or, it couldn't?). The entire screen, starting after the motherboard's splash screen, starts to show the screen that I've described above. Couldn't boot into ubuntu (on a really old IDE hard disk, it just stuck there) and I kept getting BSoD booting into Windows (on a comparatively new SATA 2 HDD). I wanted to erase the entire Windows partition to install Linux Mint but I couldn't boot into it (external USB) too

Note: Not Red Screen of Death or BSoD directly. It's reddish screen with blue tiles then I get BSoD only if I boot into Windows. The BSoD states it's an error with nvlddmkm.sys but how do I fix it? And I don't wanna reinstall Windows just to install the nvlddmkm.sys. I want to install Linux Mint directly.

What might be the problem here?

C++ to access MySQL

Is there a way to use C++ to access MySQL database? How to connect and do basic stuff?
Any tutorial or guide? I tried searching but all the guides are just confusing.

P.S.: Can we use C++ with database other than MySQL?

I couldn't connect to wikileaks? Icouldn't load the site. Is TM or Malaysia's government blocking it? Just wanna ask if any one of you guys can connect to the site. It is up according to downforeveryoneorjustme.com and I can load it by using a proxy. What's the intention for blocking it?

Normal value for +3.3V and 12V?

What is the normal value for +3.3V and +12V? I am a bit worried as mine is so low...

Contents of my email to SKMM:
The download speed of video files with the format of MKV or MP4 is extremely slow. This is strictly unacceptable, unbearable and undeniable. According to the MSC Malaysia 10 Point Bill of Guarantees, BoG 7, it is stated that no Internet censorship is applicable. This clearly shows that TM is violating and their action is against the bill in this manner. I would like to highlight that by throttling video files download speed with file formats of MKV of MP4, they are slowing down the process - the information permeation to our country in this very Information Age. Information is important and without information, our beloved country, Malaysia would be slow in development and our country's residents will lack of information which in turns make our country very uncompetitive. We are all hoping and are taking action towards making Malaysia a high-income country with our beloved Prime Minister, Dato' Sri Haji Mohd. Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak. Everyone in Malaysia including our Prime Minister has high hopes and determination that Malaysia can transform into a high-income country but - this action of TM is slowing down the process and breaking all our high hopes.

TM has throttled P2P service... I know it's an old news.. But now, they're throttling our MKV and MP4 download speeds... This is unbearable and is over the limit!!!

Let's analyze... TM always searches for ways to conserve their bandwidth... Then what do they do after bandwidth is conserved? They pull more customers and make the line more crappy... This is the reason why they've been trying to do all sorts of things just to restrict us from downloading...

A cake, can only be cut into 16 pieces and sold to 16 people. All 16 people have the same big size of cake and after eating, their stomach will be full. But now, Tony wants to make more money. He cuts the cake into 160 pieces. Although it can be sold to 160 people, these 160 people still feels hungry. This action of Tony is also what TM is doing. They have a line with let's say, 16Mbps of bandwidth maximum. If there are 16 1Mbps users, everybody gets what they deserve right? Now, the action of them throttling our service is what Tony does. They are trying to limit the 16 1Mbps users and are trying to put more users on the line. Then the line gets crappy. But still, they want to maximize their profit and throttle everybody else and get more users on the poor line.

This is the limit! I have an idea... Their final objective is to limit our download speed and conserve more bandwidths for more users to maximize their profit right? So, let's fight for our rights! You want me to limit myself and get this ridiculous speed for what I'm paying? I use less than 60GB per month and you still want me to get this kind of speed? o0o

I know some of you might call me to subscribe for the hella VPN service but this is our right! I pay for your service and your service should be good and perfect. If it's not perfect, you are cheating me.

It's our right!

Let's download files with big file size such as online game client or programs... After finishing download, delete it and download again! Be sure to choose files from a good server where you can get full speed... Do it when you are using the computer and not really using the internet.. You want to conserve bandwidth? I won't let you... Do it as an action against their service throttling!

Do it if you're against TM!

Help in MySQL

Okay... I've tried the whole evening and I still can't solve this problem...
I am writing a registration system using php and mysql....

So... I will try to describe it...

I have a database created named 'db'... Note that this php is just for creating tables in the database...
I connect to the database using $con...

$sql = "CREATE TABLE users
(P_Id int NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
PRIMARY KEY(P_Id),
Username varchar(16) NOT NULL,
Password varchar(16) NOT NULL
)";

Everything created here....
Then later on, after putting in information in the html and submitted, action="insertdb.php"

So, in the insertdb.php, I wanna examine if the username is available or not. I wanna search through the whole username list and see if the username is available, if username is available, the registration continues, but if it is unavailable, means that username has been taken, the user will need to choose another username.
I've tried many methods.... I remembered one... SELECT * FROM xxx WHERE xxx.... But er... I am not clear about this....

So my question is... Can you please help me out on how to examine if the username is available? Thanks...

Help... Can't load Joomla...

I thought of trying out Joomla but I can't load the site... Erm... To say it more clearly, I can load the site... But it's like incomplete... Only blue links (those that look very ugly... Like the most basic links appearance) appeared and all the images don't appear.... Used IE, Firefox and Safari... None of them can load Joomla's website...

So, I tried visiting that website again from my school... The site loaded successfully.... And nothing went wrong... May I ask what happened to all of my web browsers? Or there is a problem in my pc?

Help... Graphic Card Problem...

My specs:
AMD PhenomII x4 810 2.6GHz
Asus M4A78 Pro Mobo
XFX 9800GT
4GB DDR-2 800MHz Kingston Value RAM (In Vista 32-bit got about 3GB only...)
Silverstone ST50F 500W PSU
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit

Here is the problem....
Last time, I upgraded my 9800GT's driver to this 185.85 version, games like Crysis crashes frequently...
The settings is all very high and 2xAA...
I thought the settings in Crysis was overkilling my graphic card.... So I set it to all high and 2xAA.....
The crashing problem still occurs....

I've tried to check on the Internet... and I found out that the 185.85 driver version seems to be having a little problem on games.... I've forgotten which site I went to.... But there's quite some number of ppl having crashes during gameplay..... I once got BSOD before... saying that er.... Memory management problem...Other than that, sometimes when the game crashes, I will end up in my desktop and the icon display bar (place full of small icons on your lower right corner) pops out a message with a small warning icon saying that "Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered"......

Now, I've uninstalled this 185.85 version and use my old driver back... which is 182.08....
Well, the problem doesn't occurs frequently anymore on Crysis... But sometimes when I play Condition Zero on my computer, the problem occurs... The program stopped responding and I have to end it... Then when I end up in my desktop, there is only this small warning icon below without any message.... When i try to click or double click it. nothing happens...

So I wanna ask.... Is this the driver's problem or my graphic card's?
It is still in warranty and if there is problem, I wish to change it.... Thx... And sorry for this long post....
