IMAGE LOST - SONY DSLR

Help anybody...

My camera is sony a290 (yes i know quite old already)

while transferring the image (RAW) from the memory card, suddenly a pop up stating could not detect image.
I did not do anything or click anything to delete the image on the memory card. then why suddenly almost all the image dissapear. ????

on the LCD display on the lower right stated -58- meaning that i can take another 58 more pictures right.?
so it indicates there are still many image on the memory card, but when check, i could not found the picture i was looking for that i took.

uhuk..what really happen yar?...

need help. picture is important!!! ((

A problem with resignation

Salam dan hai semua,

Hendak meminta pendapat user di forum ini.

Bekas kompeni saya bekerja hari tu meletakkan syarat dua bulan notis berhenti kerja.
Walau bagaimanapun, saya memberitahu niat saya yg hendak berhenti dengan segera kepada majikan saya ketika itu.

Keesokkan harinya, saya hadir ke pejabat dgn niat utk menyelesaikan tugas tertentu sebelum berhenti dan menyampaikan surat notis berhenti 24jam.

Belum pun sempat berbuat demikian, majikan saya ketika itu menghantar msg mengatakan saya dilarang utk menjejakkan kaki ke ofis kerana saya telah pun berhenti kerja. Majikan juga berkata sekiranya saya dtg ke ofis, saya dikira menceroboh ofis nya.

Masalahnya saya cuma menyatakan niat utk berhenti kerja secepat mungkin dan belum pun lagi menghantar notis 24jam itu ke tangannya.

2 minggu kemudian, majikan mengingatkan saya membyr pampasan gaji dua bulan kerana tidak menghantar notis berhenti dua bln.
Tetapi kejadian dihalau dan tidak dibenarkan menjejakkan kaki ke ofis sebelum notis dr saya menggambarkan sperti saya yg sebenarnya diberhentikan.

Apakah pendapat semua di sini? perlukah saya membyr pampasan tersebut sdgkan tidak diberi peluang utk menghantar notis dgn alasan tertentu.

I need some of your knowledgeable opinion...I am no expert in camera, but I love looking at beautiful pictures...planning to get a camera and learn from it to take good pictures. Sony nex-3 and panasonic lumix fz35/38 as well as lumix FZ40 (the latest) is in the same price range that I can afford...although both lumix are digital camera...the picture quality is SLR-like...so which one in y'all opinion should i buy? . thanks for the help in advance. .
