Question on revocation of S&P

Just a quick check on the topic.

Let say a company (A) entered into the S&P with another party(B). They (B) made a deposit based on the property price.
By the end of the day they (B) decided to revoke this agreement. The deed of revocation stated the deposit paid will be forfeited.

My question is will this deposit forfeited be taxable or not under the Income Tax Act for the Company (A). The company is an investment holding company where they received only rental income.

problem with wireless network

I'm having problem with the wireless connection on my window xp.
It can detect but when I click to it, it can connect.

wasn't so sure what's going on with it. but when I bring it over to client's place and office it can detect and connect to it.
but cannot connect to the house wireless connection.

hope you guys can help.

2 more sems to go and I'm done for my degree
what's my problem now its that
my cgpa is vy low (2.4 plus only)
should I resit my papers the coming semester
or retain another sem to resit all my poor result papers
coming sem I'll be taking 4 subs only (not including the resit papers)

pls give me some opinions on what I can do.

currently I'm in my yr 3 degree in accounting.
I need some advise on which to pursue aft my degree.
frankly to tell, I don't have good grades for both MA and FA papers.
my grades doesn't reach B+, just B or C only.

I need advise on which path to choose.
I want to know as well, aft I finish my degree can I register to become a
member of MIA by taking the MIA qualifying exam that MIA offer
before going to either cima or acca?

Problem connecting to the internet

I'm have a wireless modem + router (is a 2 in 1 modem) Riger DB108-WL.

Just last few weeks I'm having this problem that I cannot connect to the internet wirelessly but I can connect it thru the LAN cable.
I'm using an Acer aspire laptop currently.

Anyone know what's happening to this modem.
btw this modem is shared by another desktop as well.

having problem with acer aspire 5054 nwxmi

My lappie(acer aspire 5054 nwxmi) was down and I've got no idea what cause this to happen.
Probably the last time when I was using I didn't shut it down properly(I close the monitor before it completely turn off) then this prob occurs.

The problem that my lappie having now is that when I turn it on, it load until the welcome note there, then a blank white screen appear with just a cursor only and ntg else after that (no words, no icons). Everythings are fine before the welcome note but not after the welcome note.
I've tried turn it off then turning it on but still the same.

I told some of my friends about this problem and they suggested me to reformat my lappie.
I'm really a noob in computer and don't have much knowledge with it.

can tell me step by step on how to reformat it and what are the things(softwares thise kinda things) that I need to reformat it.

I've got lots of important docs inside my lappie is it possible not to delete everything when I reformat it.
what are the things that I need to save before I format it.

p/s is there anything that I can do if I don't wanna reformat my lappie.

Pls help me.
