Is Lowyat Forum Layout Got Change?

Just asking if there has been a UI change in terms of Forum Layout?? I login today to find out that the first column is gone, there is no way to PM a person (compared to previously)...

And seriously I dont like to read from left all the way to the right (esp if big monitors). The previous layout was totally fine. Why change when its not broken?

Add: I noticed I could switch to the Desktop version and I did but why did it autoswitch to mobile version when I am surfing from a PC?
