Hi,

Found out that RapidKL do provide real-time bus location data service. The data is every 30 seconds.

Solo Thailand 1 month roadtrip on Honda Beat

Completed my Solo Thailand 1 month roadtrip on Honda Beat scooter :

Distance : 7600 km
Petrol (Ron95) : 122 liter (around RM 450)
Hotel (Dorm+Camping) : RM 370
Total spent : around RM 1800

Kuala Lumpur -> Alor Setar -> Koh Lanta -> Surat Thani -> Hua Hin -> Kanchanaburi -> Bangkok -> Pattaya -> Khao Kho -> Chiang Mai -> Chiang Rai -> Phu Chi Fa -> Pai

Chiang Mai -> SukhoThai -> Bangkok -> Hua Hin -> Surat Thani -> Hat Yai -> Kuala Lumpur

1. Encountered 4 roadblocks, 3 accept Malaysia driving license. 1 say must have international license (fine 500 baht)
2. Bring a spare bike & box key in case lost.
3. In Bangkok, some roads / highways are bikes not allowed (fine 1000 baht)
4. Camping site at hills (own-tent = 100 baht, rent-tent = 300 baht)

Pros :
- good fuel consumption
- small, easy for parking

Cons :
- slow bike
- struggle to climb hill

Let's say i want to keep enough cash for 1 month in hand, how can i withdraw money from my Malaysia savings account every month?

Use house loan to pay for new car cash

I am having this mortgageone house loan and have paid extra up to RM 150K now (This is monthly extra payment than I can withdraw anytime). The loan interest is BLR - 0.8. (5.55 - 0.8 = 4.75%) I am thinking of buying a new car (around 150K). The car interest is 2.3%. But the effective interest rate is higher because the HP-loan is fixed for 5 years.

Should I withdraw the 150K from my mortgage loan and pay the car with cash? Then I can continue to service my housing loan as usual? Is this advisable? Will this cause income tax problems later?

Pls advise.
