Need Help with MacBook Pro Battery

hey sifus out there,

i am currently owning at mbp 15" i think is late 09 model if im not mistaken. owned the machine for about 2 years now come this June. i have a major issue now with the battery. it started just recently. when i use the macbook (whether on bootcamp or osx), the laptop will die after the battery goes below 70% of usage, and that on a 2year old battery is approx 30mins only (on wifi + bluetooth). so i just wanna ask does this mean that its time to replace the batteries? or is there something i can alter within the settings to fix this issues?

sorry if there is another thread with the same issue. tried looking for it but cudnt find one. if mods can fuse it with related topics that would b great.

hey guys,

ive never bid/bought anything on ebay before (talking about eBay.com, ebay.com.my. cos most of the stuff at the malaysia one is fake). so i understand that the safest payment method is paypal. but my main issue here is most of the sellers do not ship their stuff to malaysia. and those that do charge a high price.

anyone has any advice abt shopping at ebay? what to look out for when i want to buy something? how about taxes when it reaches out shore?

btw im looking to get gadgets and accessories mostly.

hope this is the correct section. anyways im planning to go to singapore for holidays, for a few days la. im planning to go next week. right now, thinking of driving. anyone out there knows whether i can bring my car across? what are the procedure and costs?

and if dont take car, what other transportation do you recommend? i think by train is too long, 6 hours the journey. and by flight cannot book now d. ppl that have travelled by car there, pls do advice.thanks!

i plan to purchase either the dell st2210 or the st2410 to pair it with my 15" mbp. i tried looking for reviews online, some said that there are issues with it if it were to be paired with a mac. anyone has any experience with these two models?

if there are better monitors in that price region, do recommend.

i just received my new mbp 15" a few days ago. since my area (or rather everywhere else) is quite prone to cases of laptop getting stolen, i was thinking of getting a way of protecting or salvaging the laptop incase this happens. not sure if anyone has heard of Undercover by Orbicule.

i am thinking of buying the household license which is eligible for 5 mac users. so whoever out there who wants to share? or perhaps anyone out there knows how to purchase this product since i think its from the US.

the rest of my macs at home are already protected by Undercover. hence i only need one now, and buying the household license only costs another 10usd more. any 4 mac users out there wants to share?

hey

i am not sure if this problem have been posted before but i cant seem to find the thread.

anyways i am using bb 9000. its abt 1 year old so claiming warranty is out of the question. currently there seems to b something wrong with the trackball. it doesnt go left, only left. the other sides are fine. and also the light on the trackball illuminates only at certain times.

anyone know the solution to this issue? changing the trackball mayb? where and how much?

advice wud b appreciated.thanks!

hey. just wanna ask if anyone knows when the xperia x10 is bound to b released or has it been released locally. dont think its available at garage sales. now eye-ing either this or the nokia x6. but after checking out reviews, my decision is towards the x10.

hey all sifus out there,

im currently using a mpb 15" (late 08) and it runs on leopard and windows xp pro 32bits. i need to use AutoCAD and 3ds Max on a quite regular basis. after installing these two softwares, i use the keygen to generate the serial number for me to activate it OR use it for 30days on trial. my problem here is, everytime i change OS (using bootcamp), since AutoCAD and 3ds Max can only b used on windows, everytime i use Mac, and logs back to Windows OS, these two software expires, even when 30days are not up yet. i have to do clean uninstallation and install them again to use them. this gets pretty tiring after awhile althou i have kinda memorized how to delete all the files to do clean uninstallation - without this step, it will still b considered expired even after re-installation.

sumone told me before it might b due to the 'time difference' on both my OS. for exp: i have experienced the time display on my OS are incorrect when i change OS. i dont know what causes this.

has anyone encountered this issue? hopes sumone out there knows how to resolve this issue. that wud b a GREAT help.

i am about to purchase a htc touch diamond used set from one of the seller at this forum itself.
he states that the phone is from sg and warranty'd by SiS spore BUT there isnt the sis sticker at the back?

so what im confused here is:

1. does sis spore put their stickers in their phones?
2. if YES, den why this phone dont have?

do help me out.
