Hi all, I am currently a 3rd year student in IPTA in Malaysia, studying Computer Network Engineering. I have to go for internship this upcoming June. Now I got 2 offers for internship, 1 from T-Systems Cyberjaya, another from Celcom Axiata. Although internship is just to expose us students to the industry, I hope the otais here can advice me, which company should I go to. Both have specialization in Networking and both are good companies. Allowance is second thing to me, I just hope to get more experience.

note: this camera is special as forwarding the film do not use typical film advance level like normal camera. instead it uses the ring at in front of lens. really cool.

hello guys. UPU result just out today and it turns out I get this 'Kejuruteraan Rangkaian Komputer' course in UNIMAP. I'm pretty clueless about this, as I never had that option in my list. btw I am an ex asasi sn hayat student and I have no idea why they 'campak' me to engineering because my maths are C anyway compare to my bio, A. But hey the deed is done, I'm grateful and I will be going I guess. I like computers.

Sooo.... can anybody kindly explain to me abit about the course? is it the same as Computer Network Engineering? I have asked Uncle Google around but I appreciate more i f I can hear from real people to boost my confidence.

I'm 19 now and currently deciding on furthering my studies. thinking of taking UM's Japanese Language and Linguistics course because i have keen interest in Japanese. but I'm curious about the job prospect after I graduate. What job could I actually do? besides becoming a teacher, tutor, etc (teaching language)... can i work at japanese-based company or something?

I'm planning to further my studies in Degree of Japanese Language and Linguistics next year. Preferably at UM cos they also have exchange student program to learn straight at Japan.

1. Just wanna ask the job I can acquire after graduating. Besides becoming a tutor/teacher/lecturer/writer, what are other possible carriers I can take in? It'd be great if u can provide me with the jobs in private and public sectors alike.

2. Is there a high chance of me furthering my studies in Japan for my masters degree? Does JPA or other bodies provide scholarship for the purpose (studying in arts stream overseas)?

3. Although I'm aiming for UM, I'm also open to other universities. If u know other institutions which offer similar DEGREE course kindly tell me too.

Your answers (and maybe suggestions) are highly appreciated~

Converting to Arts Stream after Foundation Studies

Hi all.

Currently I am a student at pusat asasi sains universiti malaya (PASUM) in asasi sains hayat and had just started my second semester.

The things is, for quite a while I've been thinking to diverge to arts stream during my degree studies. I honestly felt that I can't put my heart into science related studies. Even since my school days I've been doing quite good (or may I say excellent) in my arts or literature subjects. During my final exam last semester in PASUM, I got 3.11 which I consider quite average.

is it possible for me to do so (converting to arts stream for degree)? what are the possibilites that I can secure place in IPTAs?

I do not want to continue doing things that I don't really like in the future. I want to live my life without regrets. I hope that fellow forumers can give me some suggestions...

(WTA) Nokia C6-screen goes blank, then restart

here's the case. i just bought my C6 last week. its was working perfectly until 2 days ago. when i tried to connect to the internet (pressing the wifi sign at the main screen) the screen suddenly went blank and restarts the phone system. but the data eg, vids, pics is not affected. this has happen many times.

and after that, whithout doing/prressing anything, the phone gives the message "Internet:unable to connect, try again," many times.....

so i cannot connect to internet through wifi now.

hp never dropped from a height, and never dip in water. well taken care of.

any ideas how to fix this, before i send it to the nokia center?

Defective pixel....help!

Hi all,

I just purchased my new laptop yesterday. When I check the laptop at the shop, all seems okay. But when I got home, turned on the laptop, I realized there's one defective pixel at the right corner of the laptop, colored red. It didn't affect the performance of the laptop, but it kinda irritates me because i like to use dark wallpaper on laptop and the stuck pixel is clearly visible.

Do anybody here know how to fix this problem? Please share!

Hi all.

I applied for a program under JPA, dentistry japan to be precise. But i didn't get the call till now so i assume i didn't get the offer (because the registration is on 26 & 27 April).

So I would like to try ad make a 'rayuan' to JPA to get the scholarships. But I want to know, are the chances of the rayuan to be accepted is slim? If my rayuan is accepted, would I be sent to study locals or overseas?

recently i just started learning japanese language at a local university.

and now i'm thinking that i will be needing a dictionary to help me in my studies. the thing is, i don't know the type i should buy.....can anybody suggest me some good japanese dictionaries out there? and if possible, please state where i could buy them. any comments and suggestions are highly appreciated!!!

p/s: and please don't suggest me to just use Google or something instead of a dictionary.....

JPA Programme - Japan (AAJ)

well i get 7A+, 2A, and 2A- for my spm results today....
i'm thinking of applying to JPA scholarships.....dentistry in japan.
i did some research and found out that IF i am selected, the prep will be 2 years at UM...AAJ (ambang asuhan jepun)

the questions are (will ask if there is more later)....

1.i never learn japanese. is it tough learning this language?
2.i heard that later on learn physics chemistry math and all in japanese. is this true?
3.how's living in japan?
4.if i do this prep, guaranteed to go study in japan? or if fail have to go local only?

i appreciate someone to share their experience with me.
