i had been using my computer for several years already. but due to my usage for photo editing n all.. its been very much quite slow during editing. i dont play games as i have a ps3 but i do watch movies. only thing i does on my pc is photo editing on lightroom/photoshop and internet browsing/downloading torrents. im planning an upgrade to suit my usage currently..

My current pc:
intel C2D E6550 2.33GHz
3GB DDR2 800 MHz ram
320gb hdd
550w psu
amd radeon 5450
Asus motherboard P5KPL-AM

i got a budget of around rm600 or less.. i plan to change my motherboard to MSI G41M-P33 because of ddr3 slot which i want to upgrade my ram up 2 8gb.. i cant do it on my current mobo since it has only 2 slots and i cant find any 2x 4gb ddr2 ram. besides upgrading ram n mobo.. i would wanna get CM690 for a much tidier and better cable management in my pc...

any comments on this or suggestion to get d best buck of rm600 upgrade?

(Wta) Monitor not detecting any video signal

I had encountered this problem several times. when i turn on my pc.. my monitor doesnt show any signal.. but everything is running inside. but the cpu fan doesnt spin as loud as it usually is.. i tried removing my gc and use the onboard graphics and it doesnt helps.. i tried switching hard disk n no effect. i tried unpluggin everything except the power cord n it doesnt helps. at last i managed to solve it the usual way like last time how i encountered this problem.. removing one of the RAM.. n it works.. cpu fan spin as loud as usual.. n the monitor is turn on..

This is not the first time encountering this problem.. i just change my ram 1 year ago.. due to this same problem. at the same time, i change my motherboard too. I would like to know the cause of my ram being faulty unabling the display to detect video signal. any idea guys?

mkv files over 4gb

i have few mkv files of more than 4gb in my system.. im also having a fat32 1tb external hard disk. i plan to format my system hdd as it contains viruses n few trojan.. Besides that, all my mkv files will be deleted if i format it coz i cant transfer my mkv files to my external hdd as it does not support files over 4gb.. i plan to borrow my frens external hdd so that i can transfer d mkv files to it but didnt know it is also in fat32..

any help out there?

Im having an error connecting to d net. I went to device manager nnotice that all d network adapters got exclaimation marks beside it. It says windows could not load device driver.. I went to pc depot to get a network card thought that my internal lan port is faulty. But after installing d driver n all it still show d same error.. Any ideas?

Im suspecting theres something wrong with my lan port built in my mobo. Theres no lan light showing on my modem. But I can use d wifi n everything. Can it be d port? Shall I get a network card n that might fix d problem?
