Hi all,

I'm currently using an Alienware 15 R3 that I bought back in Jan 2018. Was thinking of replacing the thermal paste on the CPU/GPU since temps are on the high side now (esp CPU).
Any recommended shop which provide such service? Preferably in KL area as I'm staying in Sentul.

Hi guys,

Need some inputs here. I’m currently working in an IT field, at an IT company.

I have received offer to work as an IT exec in Bank Negara.
At the same time, I was offered to work in Toyota as well, non-IT related position.

Salary wise, BNM is offering higher pay. Benefits are roughly the same (each got their pros n cons).
Toyota’s multiple months of bonus is very tempting though (average of 8 months)

Anyone have been in a similar situation before that could offer some guidance?
I don’t have any contact working in IT dept of bank Negara to know the career growth and other info.

Hello guys,

I just revived my 3 years old desktop yesterday with a new graphic card, asus hd7770.

fresh format my pc and so on, installed CCC 12.6. the problem is, the graphic keep on crashing (when in game, the screen freezes and return to normal for a few times and finally not responding)

i also get excessive tearing in diablo 3 (even with vsync on). no issue with watching 1080p movies and playing old games (warcraft 3 and so on).

this card supposed to run diablo 3 in lowest spec with no problem rite? this is my first time in using ATi cards, so not really experienced on their issues.

do let me know if you guys need any more information.. (rig is pretty much listed in my signature)

Currently i have a desktop that i built in 2009. But the gpu died and didn't use it ever since.

i-7 975
rampage 2 extreme
12 gig of ram
2 x OCZ vertex 2 SSD (60g)
1 corsair force gt ssd (sata 3, 60g)
corsair ax1200 power supply
corsair h100 cpu cooler
atcs 840 casing

im thinking of playing diablo n get a moderate gpu
but im not sure whether the mobo and ram still working fine.. coz last time the pc tend to get BSOD whenever it shakes a little

what do u guys think i should do with this setup? get a new mobo, cpu and ram + gpu? or juz get a gpu itself

i have a pcie card that provides sata 3 and usb3.0 on the mobo as well..

Memory Diagnostic Error

Hello

I have a problem with my RAM since yesterday. Currently I'm having 12GB of RAM on 6 slots running at 1600MHz.
However, since yesterday I have been getting BSOD with Page Fault In Non-Paged Area and Memory Management error message.
Today I tried to install my RAM 1-by-1 and successfully boot into Windows with 6GB.

I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tools to check for any hardware error for each of the RAM kit.
Out of 6, only 3 show no hardware problem detected. My question is, since the Memory Diagnostic Tools detect hardware errors on my other 3 pieces of RAM,
does this mean that the other 3 are totally not usable anymore?

Currently using OCZRPR1866C9LV2G or OCZRPR1866C9LV6GK

And also, is there any other way that I can check for hardware error other than the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tools?

but since Corsair are recalling back all of its Dominator GT which is using the Elpida IC and is having unexpected level of failure.. I have been forced to look for another RAM parts..

This would be my rig specs..but will have to change the RAM
I was thinking of something on 2000Mhz and latency of 8 or lower..but was confused in choosing OCZ or Kingston..

I have been searching for good 5.1 USB sound card to support my 5.1 headphone. However, I can only find a Creative-brand sound card which looks quite good. But the problem is, where in lowyat may I find it? Any help or suggestion? And if you don't mind, may I have the spec and price list as well?
