So /k/ today I wented to KL from Seremban. While driving from Seremban, I noticed that there were few accidents at the opposite direction. All 3 accidents happen in less than 10km range.

And as usual, the jam. Everyone stop to look. And after the accident, suddenly clear. Ok so after 40 mins drive, I reached Bangsar. Went to Celeb Fitness to terminate my membership. After that, I wented into the lift to go carpark. While in the lift, with a malay lady and her 2 daughters, the lift suddenly stopped and blackout.

I just kept silent because I didn't know what else to do. So the Malay lady said "Hello, hello, is this a prank?" Then ayam answered "I think they are repairing the lift". So ayam took out ayam phone and shine at the buttons and she pressed the emergency bell. Then the electricity came back but the lift still not moving. The malay lady then said, "Jangan kentut we are in an enclosed space"

After awhile talking to the operator on the intercom and waiting waiting waiting waiting, finally the lift moved and ayam wented into ayam car heading to damansara. Went to Damansara, ayam had lunch at Burger King. Then went to Bentley's Music to check out instrument.

Hello people. My desktop seems to be having some trouble connecting to the internet. This problem has been there for a few months already.

OS: Windows Vista

Diagnostics and repair error: Cannot Communicate with www.microsoft.com(64.4.11.42). Network diagnostics pinged the remote host but did not receive a response.

Also, I am using a wifi doggle.

Please help me out here. Thank you.

[WTA] Car sound

I'm driving a City 04 model, i-Dsi.

The other day, I noticed my car had a weird sound. Whenever the car is idle or when I am braking (reaching almost 15-0km/h) I can feel the car is vibrating. It has (bruuuu sound as well)

It is coming from the left side as far I can tell. When the car is idle, and the engine shakes, I can hear the vibrating sound. Can anyone tell me what sound is that?

Drove 90km then only this problem came. Before this no such problem. Drove all the way around 90-120km/h (I keep around 90 at most times).

I cannot study at home because I would just play my computer. No discipline. So I've been studying in Starbucks alone for my exam on this Monday. I sit for 8 hours with my books and lappy. Somehow, it is quite productive except the drinks and buns here are expensive

Oh btw, I met a sweet malay girl here yesterday. She was alone too. Ask me to take care of her lappy while she went to the toilet. Then we started chatting. She studying animation in UITM while ayam doing Law degree. She left around 10 pm with a guy who came later

What's the perspective of life?

Hi /k/. What's your perspective of life? Have you ever been in a situation where you are drinking but you should not be drinking? Speeding when you should not be speeding? Fighting when you should not be fighting? ETC.

I mean we all have been in this kind of situation where we end up doing things we are not supposed to but somehow we survived and think of ourselves being stupid at that time.

How do you deal with it to be a better person?

I sometimes crave for something but don't like to go and eat it alone. Most to most, I will pack it.

If the place is crowded, I would choose somewhere lesser crowd. What you guise think about this?

But no doubt, if you eat alone, people would sometimes look at you one kind.

Singer Andy Williams has died at his home in Branson, Missouri, after a year-long battle with bladder cancer, aged 84.

He was best known for his recording of Moon River, the Oscar-winning song featured in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's.

In 1962 he started The Andy Williams Show, which went on to win three Emmys.

Since the 1990s he ran the Andy Williams Moon River Theater in his home town.

The singer was one of the most enduring stars of the 1960s and '70s whose easy style and mellow voice led President Ronald Reagan to call him "a national treasure".

A new generation discovered Williams' music when Music to Watch Girls Go By made the Top 10 in 1999 after being used in an advert.

Williams started singing professionally with his three brothers.

He described Moon River as his "signature song" which had a "wonderful" melody and "timeless" lyrics.

"I never tried to sing like anybody else, fortunately I didn't sound like anybody else. It just happened," said Williams.

"I was very lucky that I had a voice that sounded different to almost anybody else's and it's recognisable."

Williams died on Tuesday night and is survived by his wife, Debbie, and his three children, Robert, Noelle and Christian.

Howard Andrew Williams was born in Iowa and started singing professionally with his three brothers as the Williams Brothers Quartet.

They worked in night clubs and on radio and backed Bing Crosby on his number one record Swinging on a Star in 1944.

Williams' TV show made him an international star and launched a recording career that spawned such hits as Butterfly, Love Story, Can't Get Used to Losing You and Almost There.

He became a major star in the same year as Elvis in 1956 and was well loved in the 60s.

"The old cliche says that if you can remember the 1960s, you weren't there," said Williams.

"Well, I was there all right, but my memory of them is blurred - not by any drugs I took but by the relentless pace of the schedule I set myself."

In 1962 he married Claudine Longet, a French actress and singer, with whom he had three children before their divorce in 1975.

Williams revealed in November 2011 he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer but said he planned to continue performing at his own theatre.

He said at the time that bladder cancer was "no longer a death sentence" and that "people with cancer are getting through this thing".

"They're kicking it, and they're winning more and more every year. And I'm going to be one of them," he went on.

Williams left hospital in July to spend his final days at home with his family.

[WTA] About MBP 2012

As you all know, I just received my MackBook pro 13" last thursday. Its fantastic, really (comparing with previous Mac's I've used) MAC Os X 10.8.1

However, based on certain websites it is said that the battery should last 5/7 or even up to 10 hours. But I realize my MBP can only last for about 4 hours. At 77% it states that 3:29 mins remaining.

Normal browsing like go on /k/, tweeter, Facebook etc. Brightness level less than 50% and keyboard light is only on 1 bar. Please do enlighten me on how should my battery last.

PS: Since I got my MBP, I shut it down for only perhaps 2-3 times. When I sleep, I just close the lid or even at work I do the same till I get back home and start using it. Is it better to turn off while not using?
