Need inputs on my build

Hi,

I intend to build the following build and would appreciate and insight given by the sifus here .

CPU: i5-4690k RM 759
Mobo: Asus Z97-A or GA-Z97 Gaming 5/7 (not sure which is better). Not very confident with MSI but I do like their Gaming 5 design. Assume Asus = RM 600
Ram: Kingston Hyper Fury (Looks nicer than a normal card for Rm11 extra). RM 250
SSD: Intel 530 240gb RM 449
HDD: WD Green 2TB RM 255
GPU: Gainward GTX970 RM 1000
PSU: Seasonic X-750 750W RM 629
Case: Phantek Enthoo Primo
Monitor: Dell 24" U2414H RM 850
Windows: Windows 8.1 RM 319

Total cost without case: RM 5111

Need to allocate cost for the case too. My budget is around RM 6k.

Buying the Windows for the free upgrade to Windows 10, also for inb4 buying 6k pc but windows piratebay.

I will be using it mainly for gaming, but would like to try OC and liquid cooling too. If economy condition allows, maybe add SLI a few month later? .

What do you guys think about my build. Mainly a bit loss on which mobo to choose.

Also to add, I mostly play SC2, Dota, WoW, Civ 5, etc. Would like to play DA3, aliens isolation, and future games on Ultra on my new setup.

Hi, this is not your usual recommendation thread, I did get some recommendation a month ago, and I'm kinda torn between.

I am considering between

A53Sv-SX792v, i5-2430M + Nvidia GT540M (1GB)(1GB)@RM2349, USB3.0
A53Sv-SX792v, i5-2430M + AMD HD6730M@RM2499

N55Sf-S2356v [black], i5-2450M + Nvidia GT555m (2GB) + 1600x900@RM2799[Bang & Olufsen]; 750GB, USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer
N55Sf-S1515v [black], i5-2450M + Nvidia GT555m (2GB) + 1920x1080@2899[Bang & Olufsen]; 750GB (7200rpm), USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer

Just wanna ask is RM2.7k for a laptop I plan to use for lets say a year or less worth it?

And between N55sf series, the 1600x900 screen or the 1920x1080 screen better? I don't know how 1920x1080 reso will look in a 15.6".

Well, the purpose will mostly be gaming, movies, assignments, etc. I'm willing to go above RM3k for a laptop and anything near it also quite heart pain d.

I lean more to N55sf look and feel better (i went to ALL IT festival city and they had A53sv, and the N55sf 1600x900 version), but my parents advise me that rm2.7k for a laptop is quite expensive so im considering the A series as an alternative. Still.... I'm undecided.

Any sifus can help me in this? Which would be more value for money?

A good gaming microphone

Can anyone recommend me a good gaming mic to go with my ATH-A700?. I prefer clip ons if possible, so, i can walk, turn around when im talking .

I herd of zalman zm-mic1, but cant seem to find anywhere to buy it in malaysia, and buying online is too expensive. I asked around the BULK tumpang thing, and most also RM80 above, for a USD10 microphone. Shipping cost too much leh

Just wanna ask if anyone here got a good solution or a good microphone to recommend. Best if include where to buy too

So here is the rig's basic design

i7 920 - Rm1040?
P6T - RM855?
Kingston DDR3 1333MHZ - RM330?
WD 1TB SATA - RM330?
GTX275 - RM989?

This rig need wat PSU (with price thx). Erm, plan to OC, so what type of cooling should I get? (air cooling). The graphic card good enough? Or can downgrade abit? Budget should be around 3-4k liddat. And anyone know how much is Antec 900 casing's price?

I plan to geddit erm, mid year or when my future not so uncertain, like when i know i will not be leaving the house a lot. OC or not, I see how la. i sked burn my comp rah!

*Erm, issit overkill? I plan on getting a really good gaming comp to play games without lag and maybe last a couple of years or more.
