Hi there i have 2 kinds of modem 1 is an old Aztech DSL605EW and a D-link DSL-2640B (recently bought 1 day ago)

this is the weird thing... when i connect the D-link modem to replace my old aztech the Ethernet Port 1,2,3,4 for d-link could not be detected at all meaning NO FREAKING LIGHT

then i replug in back my old aztech and there is a Ethernet light

SO WTF IS HAPPENING HERE?

Sup fellow lowyat users i am making a gaming rig starting from scratch, iam a noob btw

Just making the rig only by the way excluding The following

HD
LCD monitor
Keyboard
Mouse

Here are the following i am going to get

Case: antec 300

RAM: Corsair TR3X6G1333C9 6GB (3x XMS3 2GB) PC-10600 (1333MHz) DDR3 TRIPLE CHANNEL RAM (x2)

Power Supply: Gigabyte's Odin GT 800W

Graphics Card: N280GTX series

CPU: Intel core 7i (dunnoe which version yet if got better can suggest?)

Motherboard: either MSi x38 diamond ,EVGA X58 SLI Classified or Asus Rampage II

Budget around 6k~7k RM

am i missing anything?
