Hi guys, I'm a bit confused about this. I'm planning to install a few softwares at my office laptop. So I was wondering, are freewares or softwares that i bought with a personal license legal to use at the office? Do I need corporate license?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys..

I'm graduating from uni here in oz and coming back home soon. Thinking of buying the wii console here since a fren of mine is selling his. Would there be any regional issue with the games n stuff? I dont plan to get it modded or play pirated games. Or do u guys think i should just wait till i got back to KL and look for one there. Any help would be greatly appreciated

wireless reception

Hi,

I currently have a wireless-G router, and I'm looking to increase the signal strength of the thing coz reception is pretty bad upstairs at my house. Would it be better for me to

1. Get one of those antenna replacement kit

2. Set up a wireless repeater upstairs

3. Upgrade and get a new wireless-N router

Most my frens say I should just make the upgrade to N. Would it really be worth it? Everyone's laptop here is really not quite new, guess it wouldn't have the new wireless-N card but the range should still increase should I upgrade right? Feedback from u guys would really be appreciated

Cheers!

training as a chartered accountant

Hi guys,

Seems to be a number of accountants on here. I need a few pointers, hope u guys can spare me some thoughts. I'm graduating from an australian uni soon and I hope to seek employment in the assurance/audit line. I would also like to pursue a chartered accountant qualification, maybe the australian one (ICAA) since I'm graduating from there. Thing is, I did vacation trainee with one of the big four firms sometime ago and those guys seem to have endless working hours sometimes. Not that i'm a lazy bum here (well...maybe a bit) but i would like to make it my priority to get the CA qualification first and I'm really not sure I can with those working hours. Have any of u guys had experience doing a professional paper (CA/ACCA/CPA) while with one of the big four firms before? What's it like...do u get enough study leave, etc? Would it be better to start off and train in a mid tier or small firm first (they should have leaner working hours right) until qualification? Please advise

Any feedback would be appreciated
