Someone help me.... I'm trying to solve my sis's laptop problem. Must be a virus... but how to kill it? She wants her data back without restart. Here's the problem:

When load into Windows XP SP2, only can see the wallpaper. No desktop icons, no start menu no task bars and right click doesn't work at all. Ctrl + Alt + Del will give an error message "Task Manager disabled by administrator". Even safe mode also like that.... not even the safe mode in command prompt worked.

I know a certain step can be done to kill the lsass2.exe process but I can't access anything... literally only can see the desktop wallpaper.... I've hit every buttons on the keyboard also no response. how to kil it if no task manager allowed. I tried plug in a pen drive... when I check on my PC there is autorun.inf and me_cute.exe. scan my pen drive with avira anti virus but no detection found... I know something weird when i check the attributes of my file using the command prompt....

So, any suggestions that I can follow? Format will be the last resort. Oh, I'd also scan for viruses before Windows XP boot. Still no change... Any help will be appreciated as she needs her laptop back by monday
