Hello again,
Planning to upgrade mobo and processor,since it have been many years, my budget is around 1.2k.
from this budget all i can see is i5,prefer intel, is it worth it i5 ( 1st gen ) to i5 ( latest ) upgrade?
planning to play gta v, the card ive already upgrade.

This is my current spec.
CPU: Intel Core i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz ( next upgrade )
Mobo: Gigabyte P55-US3L ( next upgrade )

RAM: 8GB 4x2gb DDR3 Kingston Value RAM

Hello all,
I'm planning to upgrade my pc, since im in a tight budget, I'll be upgrading one by one.

At this moment I'm planning to upgrade my gc (HD 5770 - still working like a charm) to a better/new gc , that can last for another few years. currently using my pc for simple editing on ps and ai,movies,surfing the net and very little on gaming since im working right now, but now i want to start play game again, planning to play newer games smoothly.

need some advise and recommendation on gc ,budget is RM600 ( will add some if needed ).

This is my current spec.
CPU: Intel Core i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz ( next upgrade )
Mobo: Gigabyte P55-US3L ( next upgrade )
RAM: 8GB 4x2gb DDR3 Kingston Value RAM ( i think it is enough )

PSU: Extreme Power Plus 500W (do i need to change to a better one?)

very super noobies here,haha

I need some help here, I'm planning to extend my storage, want to add ssd on my rig , plus extra 1tb side by side with my old hdd. Since my rig is consider old ( i think so almost 3 year plus ), is it possible to do this? so i need to change psu? Can recommend me good ssd ?,my usage usually downloading movies,basic editing software (ai and ps), so i play little gaming since my 1tb is almost full with movie,music, picture and etc.
the rig is serving me well till today just the storage is almost full,

Or should/need to upgrade my current rig, im open to any suggestion and what i need to know before i change my spec,

[WTA] need help with wireless

Hello guys,
I just got my Unifi yesterday,
since my pc cannot connect to wireless,
i buy a D-link wireless N 150 Usb adapter DWA-123 for my pc.
The thing is i cannot reach the wireless connection,low signal sometime no signal.
my room is 10-13 meter from living room where the router are place at the same floor.
other that maybe cause of this problem i think of the thick wall.
I've been looking and searching on the net for solution,but i cannot decide what to choose.

i) Cable ( the cheapest one,but it will be alot of mess to route this cable 10 meter across my living room)

ii) Better adapter ( 150Mbps High Power Wireless USB Adapter TL-WN7200ND or any other suggestion? )

iii) Repeater ( i don't actually know about router, so this is gonna make me more "pening" basicly i know this method can expand your wifi range )

iv) Homeplug ( same as repeater, not really understand, but from what i know this method you do networking over existing home electrical wiring )

Ok, basically i just want to change my adapter to a better one.
Before that i just need some more suggestion.

I hope all the sifus can help me...

I have a problem with my psu, i've post the problem here,
and they recommended me to change the psu.
my old psu is Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500W,
and many recommend me to change to FSP Hexa 500w.
why does FSP Hexa 500w is recommended?
care to explain?
and lastly, let say if got no stock of FSP Hexa 500w,
what is other alternative psu for me? (budget rm200 below, must 500w and reliable)

Regarding the previous post that i posted,
since there is no one here can explain this to me,or maybe they dont understand what im saying.
i just got my pc to repair shop, the technician say that my psu burn already.
my psu is Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500W Power Supply.
is this problem common?
will this effect my hardware? im so freaking out right now,
worried i would fried my rig.
and recommend me another good PSU for my rig?
should i go for warranty or buy a new PSU?

My parent house kitchen got clogged, it was from the previous renovation,
they make the piping like "u" shape then go to the inspection chamber,( this is what they said, im not sure )
it also effect the kitchen toilet...
call a plumber,they said...
at the "u" there got hard fat( lemak yg dah keras ) from kitchen stuck there...
need to dig the kitchen floor because of the complicated plumbing to scrap the fat...

the question is it reasonable for this price?(rm 1000)
or is it just another scam?
and he is just an indonesia worker that work for renovation.
he said got 1 year warranty if still got clog can free repair...

I'm Graphic design student from Unisel taking Dip in Digital Graphic Design.
Next sem is my last sem there, but I still have 1 repeat subject that i dint take yet,
Its is the second time i repeat this subject,the thing is im not good at fine art,
this subject need me to draw human figure, sketching and all that...
and this doesn't mean i cant draw, i can say im good at Ai,Ps, indesign and all other software,
the thing is im sux at it, plus the lecturer i don't even like and alot of assignment that i need to do,
it make me lazy to do the assignment and i even skip class...

So i need a little of advise so i can survive this journey
Will this weakness will make me a bad designer?
Izzit wrong for me to not draw good?

Hello all, I just want to ask, I have this problem since two days ago...
I'm using p1wimax old modem (dv230) connecting through lan...
I'm facing this problem several time today (as picture below)
even though my network have internet access...
the modem light is green no problem, but i did not get connection...
try to change to change the lan cabel,after few hour of surfing still got problem...
maybe onboard lan problem or any software/driver problem?

Yesterday i was recommended by my lecturer to eat this Mr Junior Burger,
he said the the burger are great,
so i went to the shop with my friend to try it @Seksyen7 Shah Alam,

They burger are homemade and grilled,
its my first to try out our own local burger,
and trust me, i thinks it is better than Mcd.
and way cheaper than them.

they come in combo set and ala carte,
in the combo set they included with hash brown and a cold tea.
me and my friend try 3 different burger:
i) merry-go-round ( eggs grill with cheese and a cubed chicken inside ) = RM 6.20(set)

ii) splash Burger ( Beef or chicken patty dipped in blackpaper sauce ) = RM6.20(set)

iii) pizza burger ( beef or chicken patty smeared with special pasta sauce and cheese ) = RM7.30(set)

all of them great, but i didn't not get the chance to taste of them,because my friend was very hungry,and didn't want to share,haha
but ill try it next time.

Just wanna share with you all in /K/, maybe you can come by to it yourself.
