Buying a gaming laptop (MSI GT70 or others?)

First of all, I'm far from an expert in this. Forgive me if at any point I sound like a dummy
I'm currently using the Alienware M14X R1. Used it for almost 2 years now. Now I'm looking to buy a new one.

I went to the PIKOM PC Fair just now and I saw the MSI GT70 Dragon Edition 2.

Here are the specs:
4th Gen Intel Core i7-4700MQ processor (2.4GHz Turbo Boost up to 3.4 GHz, 6MB cache)
Windows 8 Single Language
NVidia GeForce GTX780M 4GB GDDR5
17.3" Full HD Anti-Glare LED backlit (1920 x 1080)
16GB DDR3 16000MHz RAM
Super Raid 2 (128GB SSD*3 mSATA3)* + 750GB HDD (7200rpm)
Blu Ray Writer
SteelSeries Multi Colour Backlight Keyboard
Killer Double Shot Gaming Lan and Wi-Fi + BT4.0
Exclusive Cinema Pro Technology
x2 Theatre Class Speakers + 1 Subwoofer
2 Years Warranty with 1st Year International Warranty

*I have seen this included on mostly all newer high end laptops. I don't know what a SSD really is. Maybe someone could explain to me what it is, what's the difference from a normal hard drive and what is its uses.

Hoping that anyone with any experience/knowledge on this laptop would share them.
Recommendations of other laptops are very welcomed. Below is what I'm looking for:

1.From my experience with the M14X, I do not like how it gets really hot, while not even running the most demanding games. Looking for one with a good cooling system this time.
2.Budget is RM8K-RM9K. I'm buying a laptop with a high end GPU that is able to run all those demanding games at the highest settings. I would not buy another laptop for 3-4 years so future proof is really important. Currently looking at those with GeForce GTX 780M. At first, I wanted to buy the new Alienware 17 but those with the GX 780M are not sold in Malaysia.
3.I'm moving going to move to the UK for a while in September so I need to make sure that the brand would allow me to easily get repairs/services there.
4.Online purchases are not preferable as I need to buy it as soon as possible and I'm afraid that if I purchase it online then it wouldn't arrive in time. Trying to buy one at the PC Fair which ends Sunday. However, any recommendations are always welcomed

Thank you in advance

Alienware M14x or HP DV6-6168TX ?

Looking to buy a new laptop for gaming and some office works.

The backlit keyboard of the Alienware looks really cool and the brand itself attracts me but the HP is far cheaper

Not sure about the gaming performance as I'm a noob in these things. Enlighten me on this.

Alienware M14x : 3.0GB DDR3 Nvidia GT555M
HP DV6-6168TX : AMD Radeon HD 6770M (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated)

Hope sifus here can help me decide
