What I do not have is just the charging cable, unless you want my almost broken cable, else you can buy it anywhere.

Price: RM 1180 (absolutely negotiable)

Warranty: No more

Dealing method: COD Johor (Bukit Indah area preferably) / Klang Valley

Location of seller: Johor Bukit Indah

Contact method/details: PM me

Age of item: 2 years

---

Item(s) conditions:A few dents on the rim, however, not a single scratch on the screen and the back as were protected by screen protectors throughout the 2 years, hence the reasonably lower price.
Questions regarding iPhoto/iTunes library storage

I am planning to get a SSD hdd to replace the default one in my early 2009 Macbook Pro's somewhere this coming christmas. However, as most of you know, SSD hard drives are expensive and if I'm not mistaken, the largest capacity available now from Intel is 120GB (Correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore, I would like to ask if there's anyway that I can store my iPhoto's photo library as well as my iTunes's music library to my 1TB external hdd and whenever I plug in my external hdd, those libraries can be easily accessed where photos can be seen and musics can be listened?

Or this is not do-able and I have to store all the libraries in the local internal hdd?

Thank you for any help.

Need recommendation on THESE type of songs

Hi all, recently I build up my interest in listening English songs from my previous habit of listening Chinese pop songs. I would like to ask for recommendation of some nice English artists. My interest lies towards songs from singers such as Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat, Owl City, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, etc. which I would say belongs to the "light and easy" group of genre (not sure if that's the right term to say). I do not know many of English singers, so I'm asking for help here for recommendation of singers who have albums of songs type like those I mentioned. Hope someone willing to put a helping hand. Very much appreciate for that.

Planning to get entry level DSLR, need help..

Hi all, basically I'm planning to get a DSLR as birthday present for myself soon after many many years of using those simple digital cameras. The motivation of buying a DSLR is that recently I saw a lot of friends taken photos using DSLR in facebook and honestly, the photos quality are just superb compared to normal digital cameras. Well, honestly I do not know how to use a DSLR at all, therefore, I'm actually looking at those entry level one but also not bad in terms of quality one because this is going to be my first DSLR as well as my own birthday present. Also, gurus here if possible can you point out how am I suppose to learn DSLR before and after buying the camera? Hence, any recommendation is highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Possibility of syncing home theatre across oversea

Guys, I am a student studying oversea and owns a MBP. My family back at home in Malaysia likes very much to watch movies/series and listen to songs. Every time whenever I get back to M'sia I have to bring along a huge size of sources for them to enjoy. Hence, I have an idea in mind but not sure if it is feasible or not.

I would like to ask is there a possibility if I buy a mac mini and set up back at home, then, from oversea, whenever I have any sources in my own MBP, I can share/upload to the mac mini back at home then whenever my family members turn on at home they can watch/listen to them? I know if I upload to some of the http hosting sites they can then download back at home, but you know, this streamyx speed is really annoying as according to my family (although I have get used to it long ago). Therefore, I was thinking if possible that I can first share/upload from oversea to the mac mini at home (I know it takes time for this process if it really works), then, whenever uploaded successfully, those sources can then stored inside the mac mini and whenever my family member switch on the mac mini at home they can then browse through the sources and watch/listen.

Hmm, well, I know this idea might sound a bit crazy (at least to me), I am not sure if it is actually a very easy thing to do or it is not possible to do so (due to my very limited knowledge in this area). Hence, I really need some advice from you guys.

Thank you in advanced.

*Urgent* Making a black and white pic more black

I know the title itself sounds very funny. My question here is I am going to scan some pictures with white background and black figure (i.e. some scientific spectrum), I would like to ask if say the scanner itself doesn't have the function to increase the darkness of the scanning, is there any software/method to make the black figure darker/clearer after scanning because I am worried that the scanning quality might not be clear. (I'm not familiar with software like photoshop to make modification). Anyway, I'm using a Mac hence any method/software recommended has to be compatible with mac.

It's quite urgent as I have to make a presentation on Monday and I'm planning to scan my things tonight.

Thank you for any help in advanced.
IEM to replace current Ultimate Ears metro.fi 2

I am thinking of changing my current Ultimate Ears metro.fi 2 to a better one. I bought it some time ago around RM200. I personally feel that UE metro.fi 2 is quite emphasized on the bass (Just personal feeling). I am now looking for an IEM which has a better sound quality (preferably moderate bass and not that strong) than UE metro.fi 2 in the price range below RM300. Another important point is that I found that UE metro.fi 2 is not so good in noise cancellation. I am really looking into a good sound quality and good noise cancellation quality IEM. Any recommendation on this? Most of the time I will be using my IEM with my iPhone, hence, having a mic attached to the IEM will be an advantage for me, however, it is not a must have. I just need some recommendations.

Sharing of interesting rss feed sites

I am opening this thread for everyone of us to share any of the rss feed sites that are interesting. The reason being that recently reading rss feed from the iPhone has become my everyday habit. From computing to technology to lifestyle to news, I like to update myself everyday with something new and more importantly, interesting. Hence, by opening this thread, I hope all of you who has the habit of reading stuffs/blogs/stories from the internet, to share in this thread for all of us at the same time to increase the content of my boring rss list which consists only of several common science sites and major news sites and of course, some Apple related sites. Maybe in the following template:

Site's name: (eg. Nature.com)
Feed URL: (eg. www.nature.com/news/rss.rdf)
Type: (eg. Science)

(to moderator: not sure if this thread does violate the rule of the forum or not. Please advise if it does.)

I think this iPhone is bricked

Ok, I have an iPhone 3G in my hand now which is not mine but belongs to my aunt. According to her, this iPhone was belonged to one of her colleagues from her company. MORE IMPORTANTLY, this iPhone was purchased BEFORE IT WAS LAUNCHED HERE IN M'SIA BY MAXIS. According to her, her colleagues found that the phone got some problem (hang always, etc) so brought to Lowyat Plaza for repairing, was there for 3 months and Lowyat person said they can't repair it. My aunt's boss then told my aunt to just bring it back and if can be repaired just repair, otherwise, nothing can be done. My aunt brought the phone to me yesterday. At the first glance, there was Cydia in it. The problem with the phone before I did anything on it was that it keeps appearing the message that it can't call and receive calls and asked to restore via iTunes. Hence, the next thing that I did was plug into my macbook white (with iTunes 8.1.1) and click restore without entering DFU mode. Everything gone worst at this point. The phone was restoring with the Apple logo and the restoring bar. After the restoring bar went finish, the phone was not restored and there is an error code of 1002 appeared on my macbook screen. From now on, the phone is BRICKED (can only see the screen asking to plug the usb into iTunes). I have tried to restore it for a few more times even using a macbook pro (with latest iTunes 8.2) and all I get is error code 1002 after the restore bar finished running.

As stated, the iPhone was not from Maxis and hence it is not possible for me to make a repair from Maxis (have asked before). What can I do with this phone? I can do nothing?

Need help/suggestions from you guys.

We do have a theme for the club activity and the t-shirt simply has to include some words for the activity and some simple theme-related picture/pattern.

Please, I really need your help and please reply if any of you are willing to help.
Quality in-ear headphone/Bluetooth

Stop by Machines @ Pyramid today looking for in-ear headphone (The reason being the normal headphone is quite "big" in the sense that it makes my ear somehow a bit pain)

Was comparing between the Apple in-ear headphone and those third party ones. I asked one of the salesboy which one better, he pointed me to some third party ones which I forgot those brand names with price tag of RM399 (vs the Apple in-ear headphone @ RM329). The only thing I quite prefer towards the Apple one is the volume controller on the cable itself. However, since it only makes a different of RM70, I really want to find out from you guys about the quality between the Apple one and the third parties available out there. Can you guys tell me if Apple one is good enough compare with those third party ones or is there any third party ones which is much ahead in terms of sound quality? Preferably can get it from Machines (or anywhere nearby) coz it's more convenient to me.

Thank you.

I am keen to learn some graphic drawing (basically if can learn how to design t-shirt/logo/websites, that will be great), but I don't have any basic drawing skill. I am using a Mac currently hence I am actually wondering if there is any training center in subang jaya/PJ that provide short term intensive course (ie. 2-5 days) because I am very keen to learn either some graphic drawing using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop or some basic programming knowledge. I want to learn a skill just for my own free time hobbies but I can't find any training center that provide the course.

Anyone of you know if there is any training centers that provide such courses? It will be great if they are using Macs to teach but if it's in Windows, it's still ok..

Please, I really need some recommendation.

Sincerely appreciate any help from you guys.

Thank you.

First of all, please don't suggest me to go to a college as I am already enrolled in a University and I am having a holiday now therefore I am wanting to find a computer course to study as my free time hobby as well as to learn a skill.

Basically I am really interested to learn some graphic design, both 2D or 3D (but facing a problem that I really don't have any basic drawing skills), I have tried to draw using a tablet but can't stand with the uglyness..LOL..

Therefore, I am looking for a place to learn some tablet graphic design which offer intensive course (ie. 1-month course with several classes a week) as I am just having a holiday right now. Basically I just wanna learn a skill which can be a hobby or who knows might have a use in the future. Meantime, I know that this is an arts & designs forum, but if anyone know of any institute (best to be the same that offer graphic design course) that also provide basic programming course, I am also very interested to learn.

Thank you for anyone who knows of any institute that provide short term intensive course. Oh, I live in Klang and looking for institute situated nearby such as subang jaya, PJ, etc...

Thanks.
