Help on taking photos on a wedding dinner.

I'm really honoured as my brother has asked me for help in taking photos for his wedding day , both the day and dinner. I have not much fear on the day side , but on the dinner part , I'm really scared about it.It'll be in a normal ballroom.

So sifus out there, any advice that you can teach me? Like the perfect ISO, shutter speed,aperture? And which lens is perfect? Currently i only have a SAL1870 and SAL75300. Nervousing. LOL!

Help in convincing my mom for me to get a DSLR.

Well. I have been in love with the sony alpha a200 for a long long time. When it first launched in Malaysia , i was already targetting it. But due to the price i decided to wait for the price to drop. And now it has drop to a low price - as low as 1.4k. But the problem now is , my mom just wouldn't let me buy a camera that COST SO MUCH , thats what she said. For all the photographers out there, any advice for me? As i have to pay the camera on my own , not like many of my rich friends who just ask from their parents and they get it.
