Hi all,

I was thinking of getting Cisco Certification for networking. I have no experience in networking btw.
I am planning to get the book study it and just go for the exam,

I am planing to sit of CCENT Exam which is the entry certification.

My question is where can I go to take the exam in Malaysia , ? just the exam not the whole course ,

Hi all,

I was wondering for my DNS settings in the router , should I put in the IPv6 addresses for the DNS Server, would my router even recognize it ,

I am using the orange white router that came with my unifi package .

If you can put the IPv6 address , does it make a difference in my speed of accessing the DNS?

Looking for General Document Filing Database

Hi all,

I am looking for a Database which contains information about my Documents and where they are filed , the paths and which folder they are ,

I want a computer data base so I can easily search for them , and find which path leads to the documents I want , if the software can do document scanning that would be also a nice added feature.

There is website that does that called "Paper Tiger" but they charge for the service , however I wanted to know if there is a software that can do that for free , or if there is simple template for Microsoft Access Database that I can use .

[WTA] Netbook or an iPad 2?

Hi all,

I am looking to get something for mobile computing when I am outside , I was thinking whether to get an iPad or a Netbook

Netbook I am worried that might be to slow to use , I don't want something that is laggy , I want to surf net , and office works ,and accounting software only , and may be watch some youtube HD videos 720p , is there a netbook out there that is fast ? portable notebook 12inch ones also okay not too big to carry , something small.
Need some model recommendation here, battery life should be good cause i won't be carrying the charger around .

I was thinking of getting iPad 2 also , but I wonder which is a better option and money for value , iPad 2 or Notebook/Netbook ?

I will be getting 15.6" laptop , with core i7 in it, and it will be used for gaming so it is going to get very hot , I was wondering which cooling pad to choose ?

Do you guys have any suggestion , I want a high performance cooling pad , Noise level not very important .

If you can tell me the price also I would appreciate it very much?
and is Belkin cooling pad recommended? , I google it some people like it , some people say it is not effective , anyone has a personal experience with Belkin Cooling pad?

I am soon going to buy a new laptop, I was thinking of getting core i7 , but I am wondering if I need that much power? and if core i5 is good enough for me :

I will use the computer for the following , I hope some expert here can guide me on how much processor speed and RAM , I need , if can recommend a configuration it would be great, or a laptop for the budget of RM 4000.00, I plan to keep the laptop for 4 or 5 years , so looking for something with good quality, hopefully something that doesn't overheats easily ,but I know core i7 laptops usually overheat easily, but planning to get a cooling pad for it also preferably 15.6 inch or larger screen ,

I will use it :

For Powerpoint , Excel , and Word alot
I will use it to listen to music and download music , good quality speakers are not a must but it would be nice.
I will use it for surfing the net
I do basic programming just as a hobby once in a while.
I do movie editing , but nothing professional just youtube video and family video like that.
I am not a heavy gamer but from time to time I like to play games such as Battelfield and thinking of getting Call of Duty modern warfare 2 , and some strategy games such as command and conquer.

so the question is core i5 good enough for me ? or better go for core i7 ?
will I need 6GB RAM , or 4GB RAM is enough ??
