So I am now a father.
And I find myself looking at cars that I will not look at, hence now I don't know how to brain.

I'm turning to you, the experts and all of your experiences to help me navigate this segment.

So I was also looking at the
Volvo XC90
Volvo V60
Toyota Fortuner
Mazda CX-8

I somehow set my sights on Ford Everest and I keep coming back to it.
For now...

A part of me is hoping that the carsifus here will say "go ahead, it's a good car"

But please give me the good the bad and the ugly in no particular order.

Mazda 3 2015 ckd tyres

Time to change tyre. But no idea what tyres to put.

Ori is Toyo 215/45R18, but mechanic told me it's damn rare and damn expensive.
He recommend to use 225/45R18.

Dear sifus, I'm just an insurance agent, x pandai pasal car tyres.
I hear people telling me all sorts of different brands...pengsan.

So I'm here for some advice from sifus in this community.

Deestone Vincente Tyres

So recently I have had to change TWO tyres at the same time.
I drive a Mazda 3, 18 inches.

Nearest shop doesn't have the stock Toyo tyres available and I didn't have any choice.

So Deestone Vincente tires it is.
2 tyres, RM800. Done.

If I made a mistake, tell me right now.
If I should at least let them run out, let me know too.

Property Agents Don't Buy Insurance?

Dear forumers,

I am an insurance agent and I have had the chance to get to know and speak to several property agents.
One of them is old, having a bit of problem forking out RM200/mo for his daughter's insurance.

Others are fairly young, all but one has no insurance policy for themselves. Not even a medical insurance policy.
And they refuse to buy.

Any idea why is that so? Or if you know someone like that, please help me brain this.

Hi guys!

Let's dive into the topic on Motor Insurance!

First, allow me to point out what are the different types of coverage available in the market.

Market Value
Purchasing your Motor Insurance on Market Value would be like the name itself, paid upon the most current market value of your car.
Take for example:
My car is worth 100k now. So I buy the insurance on the current market value at 100k.
At the end of the year, I get into an accident and experience a total lost. I want to claim my car insurance.
At the same time, my car is now only worth 75k on average in the market. Insurance will also pay at the market value and that is 75k.

Agreed Value
Purchasing your Motor Insurance on Agreed Value would be more straight forward. However, I will be insuring my car at a higher value.
Take for example:
My car is worth 100k now. The Agreed Value given to my car is 107k, at a slightly higher premium. So I insure my car for 107k.
At the end of the year, I get into an accident and experience a total lost. I want to claim my car insurance.
At the same time, my car is now only worth 75k on average in the market. Fortunately for me, I insured my car at an agreed value of 107k. So the insurance will pay at the Agreed Value of 107k.

My budget is around RM200/night.
