Nowadays u need to learn the art of poker face.

Oil and gas definitely a bad choice now.

apply MIA now/after Professional cert?

Hi I have worked for almost 3 yrs in accounting field which entitled me to be part of MIA.

I am currently pursuing my professional papers as well.

Is it wiser to get my MIA be a chartered accountant first or wait till I finish my professional papers?

I assume being an MIA first.

Any advice?

Japanese firm job

Hi all,

I applied for a job in Japanese firm in Malaysia. However the job is a 1 year contract job which i was told is a normal practice for Japanese firms here.
The benefit are all similar to a permanent employee.

Any idea how much to expect from a contract job as oppose to a permanent job?

Let say a permanent job, I can expect RM 3600..... If it is a contract job...we should expect more?

By how much??

acca and cpa fees

Hi would like to ask the fees structure in ringgit for those that has or is taking acca or cpa auatralia.

How much is the total fees for each of these professional course if i have 5 professional papers left for acca and

6 more papers for cpa australia

PLKN 3RD batch 2013

My friends has been selected for the 3rd batch of PLKN.

The problem is she is currently working in a very good company and just received a letter from PLKN requesting her to join the camp which is in 2 weeks time.

This problem occurs as she is a "lompat" student...where she does not have to sit through stadard 4...so she is earlier by a year compared to other students. When offered she was in University studying already. That is why she was exempted.

But now they call her again...and it is really inconvinient to skip work for 3 months just to attend the camp.
Not only that she is "puteri lilin" prone to nose bleed.
However diagnosis or report is needed from government docters..
So far the docters asked said it is not possible to skip due to this reason.

Can anyone help by providing any solution to skip PLKN or get exemption from activities that requires standing under the sun??

Is it faster using this route or
