It is almost a year working in a SME company with small manpower (10pax) with yearly sales turnover less around 1.5mil. Nothing to be shout over as 1 leg kick type of management. However my boss already getting overboard requesting me to coverup some task which I not sign for.

Ever since the executive resignation (this year April), I have been takeover various of task (under so call stand-in), which it is still bearable for me (as a manager). However on and off my boss requested me to take over some of the task which I not sign-in for. Should I take up this task, he will take me as granted which will burden me.

Currently I'm responsible for the task of planning as well as ensuring the whole company running smoothly (Stock inventory, Production output, Product quality and Management & documentation) which mostly 60% of the specific tasks should be handle by executive. From April until now, there is no replacement for this executive but my boss want a general worker as an replacement. While this general worker will only task with menial work but the other current task I will still need to do until my current production assistant promote to executive. I delegate some of the executive work to him which he able to perform. However he did raise a valid argument that with increase of job task, he would like to have salary increment too in which I have to take back to avoid unnecessary stigma of increase workload without salary increase. Should the production assistant resign, the whole company productivity will stop as one of his task is very-very important.

Due to this factor, my boss keep on harping to me to learn and master his job task (cilakak pretend with the reason I can know more and understand the production process). Hello.....I already write down the SOP production which the company should have it 20 years ago but when you in charge in this company, you never instruct someone to write it out.

Additionally I have to take care another sister company which run specific raw material processing (this area involve alot of heavy task & only men capable to do it)

In term of salary, it is a typical chinaman salary level at 5k/month. During interview I requested 6k but reduce to 5.5k. (I accepted it as it was in pandemic time & I was in about 3months jobless after being terminated by a real CHINAMAN company <- it really open my mind no more work with CHINA company, it going to exhaust both your mental & physical daily!!!!) From the 5.5k it further reduce to 5k + 300 petrol allowance + 94.5 parking claim...... really makan ppl in desperation time. After probation, no increment....

What is your opinion?
Stay or start to polish up resume and mass send out?

Anyone have recommendation of reliable service repair in shah alam, subang and pj?

Do really European based company will add the country inflation rate into the yearly salary increment?

So far as I know

Malaysian company - NO
Japanese company - NO
Chinaman company - definately NO NO NO

I just change to new job after have a bad day with previous company (worked for 10 years already )

This new job is totally irrelevant to my previous position but the new company manager happily to accept me in order for me to start new career.

This new company offer 20% increment of my previous company salary

More ever the company benefit :
1. 50k hospitalization insurance (for whole family)
2. House Loan interest subsidize (about 5% of the full house loan)
3. Car Loan interest subsidize (about 5% of the full car loan)
4. Reimbursement of sport apparatus rm600 yearly (can also use to claim tax rebate)
5. Pay for study fee (max 2/3 of the fees)
6. 2days off for exam taking (any certification which related to work)

However after I started with new company, I always have migraine daily (already 3days consecutively)
This migraine is due to environment which the air around the factory have some stale airy smell which come from strong acid reaction with metal.

Now the doctor just gave me "ponstan" to reduce the migraine.

Btw...I still under probation.

If you are in my position, what should you advice me?

Arman, who had floppy, longish hair and black frame glasses, also said he never got angry at Teoh during his interview with the DAP aide the night before Teoh was found dead on July 16, 2009.

“(Mohd) Ashraf (Mohd Yunus) and I did not get angry,” said Arman, referring to another MACC officer who was present during the interview.

“He (Teoh) was normal,” he added.

Teoh, 30, was found sprawled on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam, after he fell from the-then Selangor MACC headquarters on the 14th floor.

Arman has, however, denied that he or Ashraf had used any force on the political secretary during the interview, which he said lasted less than one and a half hours.

Arman, who has served the anti-graft body for 10 years, also said his temper has never risen against other witnesses or suspects during interviews.

“I don’t think I ever got angry,” said Arman.

“If people don’t want to talk or if they want to hide, we’ll find documents or look for other witnesses. If I get angry, maybe there will be allegations against me,” added the anti-graft officer, who is based in MACC’s headquarters in Putrajaya.

Arman, whose highest qualification is Form Five Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), said he would get angry if people disturbed him.

Arman also said he had gone to the Selangor contingent police headquarters at about 8.40 or 9 pm on July 17 2009 to have his statement recorded, and only left the place at about 7 am the next day.

“You didn’t get angry at the police?” asked Foong.

“No. They were doing their job,” answered Arman.

Arman also insisted that he did not change anything in the second version of his investigation diary on his interview with Teoh.

“I just made additions to make it more detailed,” said Arman.

Bon had accused Arman yesterday of tampering with his investigation diary, which he said could be tantamount to cheating or forgery under the Penal Code.

Bon pointed out that there were many discrepancies in Arman’s two versions of the diary.

In the second version of the diary, Arman had stated that no force was used on Teoh, but this sentence was absent in the first version, said Bon.

Arman said yesterday he had typed a second version of his investigation diary last August after the original version, which was typed on July 18 or July 19 2009, was destroyed by a computer virus.

The MACC officer said he had typed the second version from memory and two pages of a printed copy of his original investigation diary.

“If pages of the first ID (investigation diary) were not with you, how’d you use the words found in the first entry? You don’t have a photographic memory, do you?” asked commissioner Datuk Selventhiranathan Thiagarajah.

“I just typed (from memory),” answered Arman.

Arman has testified that Teoh was called as a witness in investigations against the latter’s boss, Ean Yong Hian Wah, for suspected abuse of state funds.

Ean Yong is the Seri Kembangan assemblyman and a Selangor state executive councillor.

The inquiry resumes tomorrow.
