This has been my faithful project car and daily driver for many years, and the time has finally come for a new owner to take over. Over the course of many years, the car has taken the form of a sleeper - with minimal exterior modifications & a reasonable exhaust note - but most of what lies under the hood has been upgraded and rigorously cared for.

Here are the details:

Make: Proton Iswara Aeroback
Transmission: Manual
Year of Manufacture: 2001
Mileage: About 180,000 km

Price: RM10,500 negotiable.

Performance:
- 1.5L 4G15 SOHC, stroked to 1.6L
- Waja pistons & King engine bearings
- TD04 turbocharger with Tial wastegate and recirculated BOV (for less noise)
- Black front mounted intercooler (stealthy! not visible from the front)
- Custom made Matspeed cams
- Individual ignition coils per cylinder & custom length MSD plug cables
- PLX Wideband O2 sensor
- Custom SS manifold and exhaust

ECU:
- Link Atom G4 Standalone - this version comes with integrated MAP sensor!

Brakes & Handling:
- Upgraded brake servo
- Rear ventilated disc brakes
- Steel brake hoses

- Repainted inside and outside to Mazda 'soul red' (original colour was red anyway)
- Removed rear spoiler (for cleaner look)

As can be seen in the pictures, the car has been cared for very well. Despite the mileage on the meter, the engine has been completely rebuilt and has only done about 30,000 km since. The car has not been tracked. She has only been serviced with quality engine oils (Torco / Millers), with Ceratec thrown in for good measure.

I will be honest and also state some problems and downsides. The clutch is starting to show signs of wear. The rear wiper is not working. The NVH is far from being comfortable. It's generally a difficult car to drive, as the clutch is unforgiving and of course, there is no power steering.

However, despite the above, be assured that this is a very fun car to drive, once you get the hang of it. The engine is well tuned and responsive. Even with only 0.6-0.7 bar of boost, 190 WHP with 23 kg-m of torque is plenty of power. The sleeper look will ensure that it doesn't draw unwanted attention - and the looks of surprise you get on the road when you pull away are priceless.

Item(s) conditions: Very good, well taken care of. Smooth sounding speakers with good sound quality in smaller areas. Not recommended for large halls, but perfect for a room or small hall.

[WTA] Car Vibration/Buffeting 60-70km/h

Hi guys,

I drive an Iswara Aeroback, the old taxi type. I just rotated my tyres, and did alignment/balancing.

Feels better after alignment, very nice around 0-50 km/h.. but at 60-70 km/h there is this strange vibration throughout the whole car, sounds a bit like a very quick buffeting noise. Happens while driving straight on a smooth road.

Above 70 km/h it seems to go away, took it up to 130 km/h and it's no longer obvious.

Suspect wheel balancing not performed properly, but need advice from you guys. Any possibility it could be other stuff like wheel bearings, bushings, rim crack oredi.. huhu..

- Good sound, punchy bass
- Used for 6-7 years without problems

4) 4 Channel AV Quart Amp (used) with wired remote (still new)
- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - Still in working condition, but suspected 1 of the circuits is shorting.
- If you buy this, please test carefully first, maybe it will work fine for you.
- 1 year 3 months old, bought at RM800.

Sony SRS D211

I need to know, is there anyone here who uses these Sony SRS D211 speakers? They have been discontinued already I think.

Is there anyone who can tell me about the quality of these 2.1 speakers for the PC? From googling it, all i can come up with are specs, no one has bothered to review the thing before
