PC won't go into standby

i'm using 3g modem to access the internet but when connected my pc wont go into standby mode. i set the computer to go to sleep after 10 minutes but it will only sleep if it's not connected. any idea how to fix this?

Use game controller to control PC

i've been using keysticks for a few weeks to control my pc wirelessly with my dualshock 3. the only problem is when i want to play game with my controller i need to close the software or manually change profile because otherwise my analog stick will act as mouse, select will be escape etc. is there other similar software that can automatically change the profile/key binding depending on what software is running?

windows update

i'm updating windows 7 after a fresh format using windows update.
windows update already finished downloading win7 sp 1 but while installing, the laptop went to sleep.
now after restarting the laptop and windows update, the downloading update bar stuck at 0%.
any help would be appreciated.

hey guys. im planning to upgrade my gc to run on dual monitor, currently using 8800gt. problem is my one of my monitor has dvi and vga slot while another one only have vga. i looked around but newer gc dont have vga anymore. please suggest me a new gc that i can use with my 2 monitors. i use it for mmo games and budget is rm800. thanks

PC cannot start

hi guys. I'm having a problem with my pc here. last night i cleaned up the inside of my pc . soon after that i experienced some bsod. i thought i might have messed with some cable when cleaning the pc so i dissemble and re assemble the pc again. but now when i try to start up the pc, the monitor dont show anything at all when connected to either graphic card or on board card even though the cpu cooler and fans are spinning. any idea what might be the problem or anything i should try? thanks in advance

Desktop can't detect 2.5' HDD

i tried connecting my 2.5' 500GB HDD inside my desktop. but for some reason the os cant find the hdd. i can see the hdd in device manager but when i open disk management to make new partition, it only shows 1 hdd. any help would be appreciated.

i'm connecting to the internet using celcom broadband with csl usb modem. the problem is i always get disconnected after exactly connecting for 24 hours. this is problem since i always leave my pc running to download stuffs. i don't know if the problem is because of the isp itself, modem or the setting of my pc (currently using xp sp3). any help will be greatly appreciated

i've been subscribing to celcom prepaid broadband weekly for less than a month. so far, i will get this error message everyday without fail, sometimes so many times in a day that it started to piss me off. at first i thought it was because a low 3G signal but even after moving to area that have strong 3G signal (4 or full bar) this still happened. usually i can solve it by dc, reconnecting but sometimes even after reconnecting i still got the same error.
