Details of the complaint :

pha88 posted in her thread of accepting pre-orders for a product called "Jack3D Micro" which costs RM160. I made a deposit of RM160 on 10 September 2012. It was supposed to be a 2 week wait, but was then delayed for another 2 weeks with seller citing "clearance from customs". On 27 September, i was told that the item has reached Malaysia but still pending customs, but was asked to banked in the postage fee and said that it will be delivered soon.

I waited and waited up to 6 November where i couldn't wait anymore and she agreed to provide a refund. Last SMS i received from her was on the 13th of November telling me she just got into an 'accident' and promises to bank in the next day, but it was an empty promise. I tried SMS'ing and calling her but to no avail, it seems like she has either blocked me or her number is no longer active. It seems she has also been missing from LYN for quite sometime now.

So in summary, she owes me RM166 in deposit and it has been 2 weeks since her last SMS, she can no longer be contacted on her mobile number. Below are her details:

Speaker Setup Issue

Hey guys, need some help in my speaker setup issue here.

I'm using a Logitech Z5500 5.1 speaker system, and i just changed my mobo and proc/ram/gc/etc. I'm also using a separate sound card (Auzentech X-Fi Prelude), i did not reformat and/or reinstall my OS (Vista Business x64).

The issue i'm facing right now is that after installing my mobo, i can't seem to get my Left Rear (LR) and Right Rear (RR) speakers to work properly when i set my setup as 5.1 from Windows audio configuration. But when i set it to 7.1 both the LR and RR worked as side speakers instead, which is not what i really want. I can't seem to get it work in 5.1 mode.

The other issue i'm experiencing is that now my speakers are less loud than before, where before (old mobo) after adjusting volume to just 3-4 bars i could get my whole room to shake, but now it takes 5-6 bars or more

These are steps i've taken to resolve this issue but failed:

1. Making sure cable connections are correct
2. Tweak Windows Audio settings (sound card, speaker configuration etc.)
3. Downloaded latest drivers from sound card manufacturer.
4. Tweaked the Volume Control Panel software provided by my Sound Card.
5. Disabled on board sound.
6. Opened support ticket at SC manufacturer website
7. Searched tirelessly on google

Note that there's no Audio Enhancement settings that i can tweak other than to disable/enable it.

Could this be because of driver clash from installing my old mobo? since i just clicked on "install all default drivers" when installing the mobo.

Can any audio sifu help?

Upgrading GC Only

Hi All,

I have been pretty absent in the hardware arena since i bought my last PC a couple of years ago.

Cut things short, i'm planning to play the upcoming Battlefield 3, and since my current GC won't be good enough (8800GTS), i would like to upgrade.

My plan is to get 2x HD6950 (in crossfire) so that i could set all graphic settings to high, i'm tired of playing while lagging, especially in the heat of battle.

The issue is that i only have budget to get the GCs, the rest will be using my current setup, my mobo is Asus Maximus Formula, proc is Q6600, RAM is 4GB DDR2 1066, will using these old hardware hamper or cause a bottleneck in graphics performance?

Also i'm on a Silverstone ST75ZF (750watt) PSU, and case is CM 690, will the PSU be enough to power the GCs in crossfire? (I have 4 HDDs) will they even fit in the case in the first place?

Low Budget PC

As per topic, my secondary rig, which is already 5 years old finally gave way last night, so now i need to get a new budget rig.

The rig will only be used to surf the web, do spreadsheet, excel, word etc etc...no gaming whatsoever.

Budget: RM1000-1500 (if possible keep it around the RM1000 area).

I do not need a Monitor, HDD, any optical drives, keyboard/mouse, or speakers.

So basically, what i'm looking for are CPU, mobo, ram, GC, PSU, casing. (for CPU i prefer intel )

Oh yea, if possible please do tell me which shop u are quoting for in LYP.

Need help ADSL Modem -> Switch

Hi guys, i'm puzzled if whether i can connect an ADSL modem directly to a switch to share my connection, i dont like to use routers, since i have had ALOT of bad experience with them, includes port forwarding hassles, and other bullshit.

So now my setup is an ADSL Modem (Aztech DSL605E) & a switch (ZyXEL ES-105A), what i want to do is to connect 2 PCs to share the internet connection whereby 1 is the host (the one that uses a dialer to dial to streamyx) and the other is a notebook, is there any settings that i must do?

The ultimate keyboard of them all, OPTIMUS MAXIMUS!

It uses OLED technology, where each key can be assigned to its own graphics or even a freakin video for that matter. Has a light sensor and everything else high tech.

The price? a whopping US$1500, or roughly RM5250, so is this the most expensive keyboard? i guess, i wonder who will be willing to pay that kinda money for a KEYBOARD, not to mention, it aint spill proof, u drop your coffee on it is enough to send it flying to the can. Ah, all this while i thought i could've buy one, aih.

Hi guys, does anyone know of the action script code that can link a flash button (e.g. a login button) to an SQL Server database? i've been searching high and low for it, and frankly speaking i'm not an expert in either of the programs, i only know the basics.

In need of urgent help here, any hints/tips/solutions are greatly appreciated.

BTW, i did found codes to link to a database, but its only for MySQL, and not SQL server.
