Hi,

I dont know where's the right place to post this but here goes..

Can i use 1 receiver for 2 xbox 360 Wireless Controller?

I plan to buy 1 wireless controller with receiver (for PC). So for future expansion, can i just brought 1 XBOX Wireless Controller (the one usually sell for console without receiver so it cheaper) and use the same receiver i brought earlier?

Please advice..

Hi..i need help on installing my new DFI LanParty DK 790FXB-M2RSH

i brought this new mobo along with:
1) Muskin HD Series DDR2 2x1GB
2) AMD Athlon x2 7790+ BE

to replace my old socket 939 mobo (MSI K8N Neo4-F MS-7125) paired with:
1) Kingston ValueRAM DDR400 2x512MB
2) AMD Athlon x2 3800+

things that i migrate from previous system is:
1) eVGA 7300 LE
2) Seagate ST3160811AS 160GB SATA
3) Samsung SH-D162C 16X DVD-ROM IDE
4) Samsung SH-S182D 20X DVD-RW SATA
5) PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad S75CF

after i install the mobo into my casing, i wont power up! the standby power led do lid..(mean theres power right?) but when i tried to turn it on using power button (on casing), it didnt power up. same goes to power button on the mobo..still wont power up..

can anyone please guide me step by step in the installation, or checklist on what need to be done for successful installation?

(or is there a possibility of hardware failure? )

add up: i use Power Logic Utopia U 3000 MX case..(but im positive that i get the front panel connection to mobo as stated in manual)

SATA & SATAII..compatibility issue..

I have been looking around for answers for my problem..can you guys help me on this?

Is it true that SATAII drive 3.0GBs can be use on SATA 1.5GBs controller?

I have brought a new drive Seagate 500Gb (ST3500320AS)..previously i own Seagate 160Gb (ST3160811AS)..both are a SATAII drive..im using it on a gud ol' MSI K8N Neo4-F (MS-7125) socket 939..which using SATA controller..

The thing is when im installed the Seagate 500Gbs, i pull out the jumper (silly me ) the system starts giving me random BSOD..i thought the problem came from new ram i install earlier but after i pull out the additional ram (to previous setup) it still crash in random (5mins..sumtyms after hours of usage)..

Recently i learned that jumper on the hdd is actually limiting the drive to 1.5GBs..for old SATA controller..what puzzle me tho' is my old Seagate 160GB working fine altho i pull out the limiter jumper..

The huge prob is..i have lost the jumper... ..so is there any alternative to limit my 3.0GBs drive to 1.5GBs? if there is not, can any kind LYN donate the jumper..or is there any place i can buy it..(i have tried serveral place in Lowyat Plaza..no luck )

P/s: indeed a hard lesson for me.....
