and the car will take 10days to be shipped to dealer?

in the 10 odd cars that my family has bought, never have I been told such a story where;
I have to sign loan agreement; settle all outstanding payment; before I am told allocation will come to me.
And then once allocated, it will take another 10days for the car to be loaded into trailer to be brought into the dealer.
Only post that the dealer will process the registration.

My experience all these while will be where the car being in dealer; we go inspect car, make sure make, model, color, and specification, and the car is in good condition.
We have to consent to the car being registered; then we sign loan papers and settle all balance payments.

I tried reaching out to Proton care-line, no luck with reaching them as my calls get cutoff even before I reach an agent to speak to.
Reached out to them over FB, the person on the chat is not giving me a straight up answer after 3days of less than acceptable response rate from them.

This smells fishy to me; as I might end up with a car that is not what I ordered for, and there isn't much I can do about it but go down the lengthy legal route to recover my money.
But considering the status of X70 being a 'unicorn' car; I thought I would come here and ask the sifus if this is a common practice to get our hands on a unicorn of a car.
Before I ask the SA to shove that policy up someone else's ass.

PS: Recommend to go have a look at the parts store-room in my in-law's house before you make an offer. All parts are located within a 12x12 store-room, fully loaded. Approximately 3full carton of engine oil. Plus a couple of motor bike.
