Buying parent property

Does anyone know what do we need to prepare (i.e documents, loan application or etc) to buy parents property? It's a shoplot and afaik the property is under a company's name owned by both my parents.

Do I apply fo housing loan or is there a different loan for shoplot properties? Appreciate if anyone can guide me to right directions. Thank you.

Notice period change from 2 months to 3 months.

Hi all, I need some advice and suggestion to the above matter. To sum up, I recently signed a new job offer, which the offer letter stated that 2 months notice period is required after confirmation. I signed those later a month ago. Today the HR emailed me saying there is misaligned info and it should be 3 months notice period.

Well I think 3 months notice period is absurd in the first place. Is this something I can talk to HR with and do something about it? Or will I just be liable to 2 months notice period since that is what mentioned on the document that I signed?

Thank you.

Where do I start?

Hi everyone.

I'm a 22 y.o guy without no commitment (loans to pay or anything). I've just started work for 2 months and had save up RM1k each month. However, I don't like that my saving is just sitting there and just thought why not to invest it. I'm looking for medium-term investment and I also would like to have access to that savings in case of emergency. But where do I start to invest and grow my money?

I've read the threads about ASB and Fixed Deposit, but still not sure on which way to go. This is my first time going through things like this, so any help from the sifus would be appreciated

Best mobile broadband to get in Penang?

Hi. I'm gonna move to Penang soon, I was wondering what's the best mobile broadband to use their? My rental place doesn't have wifi and I don't think ISP is an option. I've looked at YES, but not too sure about the coverage. I'll be staying in Relau, near Golden Triangle if anyone wants to know. Thank you for your help!

Hi. Sorry, I'm not very good at this stuff. So, if I write something wrong here, please forgive me.

Okay, my dad just bought P1 wimax for our home. And we use the wireless adapter throughout the house.
Both of me and my dad apple mbp can connect to the P1. But my brother sony vaio W series laptop cannot connect.
I don't why. The mode of wireless is same B/G. I tried many ways. The only way for the sony vaio to connect to internet is through cable.
What should I do to make the laptop can connect through wifi ?
