MISC Charges for Buying Used Car?

Went to test drive a second hand car & really liked it. Price is RM34K firmed I i thought i want to go for RM30K loan & pay RM4K in cash. But then when the sales person worked out the total on the road price with the MISC charges, i had to hold back my order as i don't know whether is he genuine?

A 2007 used car, 1.4L priced at RM34K

Misc charges needed as below:-

Insurance - RM1230 (this one is ok)
Transfer - RM380 (this is ok)
Inspection Fee - RM250 (compulsory?)
Agreement Fee - RM480 (compulsory?)
Processing Fee - RM500 (charged by the second hand car dealer!!?? For what?)
Sumpah Fee - RM200 (compulsory?)

I never come across buying a second hand car, so i am not too sure are all above the MISC charges necessary (besides insurance & transfer fee)?

Hope that you guys can spare me some advice & thank you very much!

2nd Naza Suria Novus, Worth Buying?

Hi everyone,

I need some advice before i could make the decision & hopefully Naza Suria car owners can spare me some information. Your help is very very much appreciated.

I went to Semenyih to see a second hand car (Naza Suria Novus 1.1 Auto, special edition with full leather seats) Year 2008, Mileage is 36K and asking price is RM29,500. I inspected the car & it is indeed as it is claimed. Good interior & external condition & i would rate it at 95% for the overall car condition. When i asked for test drive, the dealer refused my request. He informed that once i'm firmed in getting the car with the price agreed & min deposit paid, then only he will allow me to test drive. Reason given was because it's in very good condition, therefore they could like to maintain it perfectly for the purchaser. But he also assured me that he will refund should i'm not happy with the car performance after the test drive.

Therefore i came back without having to try out the car & it's hard for me to make the decision. As i researched further from the internet, i read of many complains of the high fuel consumption, as ridiculous as 0.16sen/KM for a 1.1 engine compact car @_@ (base on 1 year old car for city drive)

I used to own a brand new Hyundai Atos in year 2003, somehow it failed me & i'm pretty much disappointed with Korean cars & still hesitate until now. My Atos FC was unacceptably high & sent back for inspection after 1 week of driving. Was told that they indeed had some problem with the electric board & had to reprogram. I re-programed it over again & again until i gave up after 3 years & sold off my car at a great lost.

Now i understand that Naza Suria is a rebadged of Kia (Korean), therefore it didn't surprise me of what i read of the high FC complaints on the net. But i just wanted to be fair & hoping that Suria owners will help advice before i make the decision.

PS: I really do love the above mentioned car a lot, though 2 years old but superb internal & external condition.

I thank you in advance & truly appreciate your input & help.
