Credit card scam?

Hey /k,

Received a call from Ct Trendz Service Card Center.
The caller has my IC number and wants me to read my credit card number to her. She says she has them but wants me to read it because of recording purpose.

The reason she wants to know:
1. Lots of credit card scammers out there using other people's credit card.
2. The recording will be evidence for my bank when I report if my card is being used by other people.

Wah, already have my IC number and then ask for my credit card number pulak. After she gave me the company's profile, she said will call me back this evening. Actually already called me last week. I said busy, call me back later, then I block her number.
Today call me again.

What would you do?

Hi guys, kindly enlighten me. Is this post the same as INTERNAL AUDIT?

POSITION TITLE : EXECUTIVE, INSPECTION
DEPARTMENT : INSPECTION, GROUP OPERATIONS

Responsibilities:

· To perform investigations on fraud irregularities/fraud incidents and branches' control review and later formulate recommendation(s) for Management's information and endorsement
· To identify weaknesses in internal controls at branches/department and assist in the rectification of such weaknesses
· To provide monthly formal reports to Management

Requirements;

· Minimum 2nd Class Upper Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Banking or an equivalent field of study, or a professional qualification (CPA, CMA and ACCA)
· Minimum of 2 years working experience in audit field or banking industry (those without required experience but have high interest in the job are encouraged to apply)
· Accreditation as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified fraud Examiner (CFE) is an added advantage
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties
· Possess good interpersonal and presentation skills and able to work well in team environment
· Possess problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to visualize problems or situations and formulate solutions via abstract thinking
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess an inquisitive, results oriented attitude

Want to ask, I want to break fast at sushi king klcc today. Do i need to reserve a seat first? Because on usual days, the restaurant is not full at all.
I'd like to call them up but they do not provide their contact number on their website.

Equity vs credit analyst

Hi all, so between equity analyst and credit analyst, how is their work different?

I know equity analyst come out with reports like AMResearch (recommend BUY/SELL) while credit analyst like RAM and MARC produce report that provides credit rating to companies (AAA+...)

How do they go about completing their job that is different? Which one is more engaging and exciting? More pressure? Tighter deadline?
I'd love to become an analyst but do not know which path to choose.
I'd really appreciate all your valuable comments and guides on this.
