[HELP] ASUS R9 280X Matrix

so here it goes,

just this evening i bought the ASUS R9 280x Matrix and 8GB crossair vengeance to upgrade my current rig.

After replacing the ram and the GPU, i found out that my cpu is working, but there is no display on my monitor.

I tried with different cables but it still wont work. the odd thing is that when i turn on the cpu, it runs for a 2s and then stops completely, after 5s it will start again. after testing for an hour or more i gave up.

any advise any of you sifu can give? was looking forward to this the whole day n this happen. talk about luck.

My current rig:

CPU: I5 3rd gen
Mobo: Maximus 4 gen
PSU: 800W

any other details i should mention here? do let me know.

WTA problem with earphone jack using W7

hey guys just wanna ask if any of you have a solution to my problem. im running bootcamp W7 ultimate and i cant get my earphone jack to work. the normal speaker works fine but whenever i plug in my earphones it wont work. anyone facing the same problem?

side note: im using *ahem ahem W7* so cant really update ><
