Maxis Mobile Data Connection Problem

Hello Everyone

Anyone here facing Maxis 4g mobile data shows connected but there is actually no internet?

When I'm out of WiFi coverage area, my phone will automatically switch to Maxis 4g. My line signal is full 4 bar and will also display "4g" which means I'm already connected to Maxis 4g mobile data.

But there's no internet! Can't even use WhatsApp, keep showing connecting, Can't even go into Safari and search or Google anything, can't connect to speedtest app.

I am on Hotlink postpaid and using iPhone X.

My phone is definitely not the issue, because when I was still with Digi two weeks ago there are no issues when switching between WiFi and 4g.

Recently port into Maxis and found out about this issue!

I have just purchased a BenQ EW3270U but realised the refresh rate is only 29hz, I think it should be 60hz?

Monitor images and videos can be laggy at times, even scrolling up down webpages is not smooth...

Any idea what is the reason?

Background info - I've been working on this corporate website for a couple months now, coming from a non-technical background the entire website was purely edited from a premium theme.

Hi everyone, I'm planning on building a marketplace website and coming from a non-technical background I would like to know what are the challenges I may encounter during development stages. The aim is to hire a web designer for this project but hopefully i'll be able to get some insights from everyone before starting it.

Just like a typical marketplace, the concept is to have both buyers and sellers trading on the website.

[HELP] Multiple Home Plug issue

Hi guys,

I have 2 sets of homeplugs.

Set 1:
Router - Homeplug - TV

Set 2:
Router - Computer

Problem:
"Set 1" will not work when "Set 2" is currently switched on....it says could not read ip address

Current Solution:
To switch off all homeplugs. Switch on "Set 1" then only switch on "Set 2"

I have also tried to mapped each homeplug to their set by pressing the button, still cant work...

Anyone have this issue?

[HELP] File sharing between computers

Hi all,

Scenario
I am currently using a multi-user accounting system called MYOB. Just to explain the system as detailed as I can, the MYOB software is installed in 3 computers "Computer A", "Computer B" and "Computer C". However, "Computer A" is the one storing all the data files. So whenever "Computer B" or "Computer C" is using the software, the data files are extracted out from "Computer A" OR whenever we input data from "Computer B" or "Computer C", all the data files are saved back to "Computer A" harddisk.

Problem
Now the problem is whenever all 3 or even 2 computers use the software simultaneously, we encounter massive lag, be in input data or displaying data.

Networking setup between all 3 computers
Each computer is connected through a normal ethernet switch (10MB/100MB speed) with cat5e lan cables, data file size stored in "Computer A" is about 80MB

My Question
Why is there a lag when computers are being used simultaneously? Is it because that my Ethernet switch speed is too slow OR my harddisk writing speed is also too slow?

Proposed solution
This is just based on my very brief understand, please correct me if I'm wrong.
To network all computers with a Gigabit Switch with cat6e lan cables and to upgrade my normal harddisk to a solid state drive?
Will this improve the file sharing speed between computers in the network?
Seems to me this is more of a hardware issue than a software issue, other vendors advised me to use or set up something called "terminal server" which I barely understand.

Techinal Windows Media Player Inquiry

Hi guys,

So my Bluray player is connect to my computer Blueray > Switch > PC and I am using Windows Media player as the default media server to play movies on my TV. (my Blueray player reads files directly from my PC using Windows Media Player).

All my movies must be imported into Windows Media Player library in order for my blueray to be able to read those files. However, the problem is that the Windows Media Player could not import .mkv files into the library

Scenario 1:
1. Tried importing movies into my video library, only other formats appeared, all .mkv files are not imported into my library

Scenario 2:
1. Installed codecs k-lite mega 10.6, .mkv are imported into my video library, but it shows 0 seconds and I could not play the movie (gets stuck after a few seconds)

Scenario 3:
1. Now when i refreshed my windows media player, all .mkv files disappear again.

May i know if any of you guys have faced this issue in the past? What is the solution?

Is there any other media player that I can use as a media server for my blueray player to read?

Home Theater Setup

Hi guys,

I currently have a TV, home theater and 1 laptop.

My laptop is currently connected to my TV via HDMI 1, my home theater is connected to my TV via HDMI 2.

If i were to play movies from my laptop, it only reads from HDMI 1 and the audio output is through the TV speakers

How do I get all PC + TV + HT to work all together? Meaning I play a movie from my computer to my TV and the audio output is from my HT.

I'm planning to develop an eCommerce website. I need an estimate of how much it would cost per year.

Features/functions :

1. Preferably a web template ( Is it cheaper?)
2. Shopping cart
3. Domain
4. Hosting
5. Maintenance
6. Support on basic functions ( uploading product etc etc...)

As I'm not familiar with eCommerce sites. This is just a list of basic features/functions, please do recommend any additional features/functions that is important for an eCommerce site.
