Webpage programming: Unlocking cash voucher

Hey,

i'm sure most web gurus will know the solution to this.

I've got a website which I want to enable users to download a cash voucher / gift voucher only after the user jumps through 'hoops' which I set for them.

So using social media for example, only IF the user shares my website on their facebook timeline/ newsfeed, then and only then they are allowed to access a particular voucher.

Someone told me just put the voucher in your facebook 'page' and when the user clicks 'like' the voucher is then downloadable and printable by user. My point is that i want them to share my page to their friends before i give them the voucher.

Ideas, web gurus?

HD280Pro or HD555?

hi guys
i'm looking for a headphones to use for hi -fi music. having a budget, and i've zoomed in to these two models.

okay, i'd appreciate if some of u recommend things other than these two, but it'll be relly good if it could be limited to these two.

i know that 280 is closed and the hd555 is open. i like the openess of headphones - let's the bass ring more naturally - however the closed HD280 gives it an edge because it seals outside sound out. airplane purposes it's FANTASTIC!

i've checked reviews and forums... but still can't make up my mind. could u guys help? honestly i'm leaning towards the HD555 for it's higher price tag and high model number. i don't wanna be caught in that trap, hence i ask u gurus for feedback. thanks a lot...

[addedon]February 22, 2008, 10:04 am[/addedon]nice... NO answers...
oh well...
i've decided to get...
Unfilled Nikon warranty card

okay, here's the situation

just bought 18-200 VR.... however,i asked for the warranty card, UNFILLED with the company CHOP. she looked at me, slightly bewildered, but then just proceeded to inform me that i should not wait too long to filll it up and post it to nikon.

my question: a lot of u guys here buy stuff with and then sell here in forums with UNFILLED warranty cards. what does that mean? does this mean later on i can fill up the card and send to nikon wihtout any problems? what if my warranty gets rejected coz i took too long to send it to them?

purpose of unfilled warranty cards is so tht there is higher second hand value right?

how?

edit: so for those too lazy to follow the discussion, it's being said that unfiled warranty cards aren't a problem as more often than not, nikon personnel in charge of warranty will not do a cross check of the warranty card and THEIR internal database, showing when the lens was 'shipped out' to the retailers. all u need to do is provide ur warranty card to NIKON and they'll accept it with following conditions :

1. the date on the card must be sensible, for a discountinued unit such as camera, make sure the date purchased isn't the day / week before. i'd suggest a date 3-6months before.
2. make it look as natural as possible. bring the box of ur product (makes sense right? )
3. depending on ur luck - what kinda nikon personnel u encounter on that day

HDD clicks and PC hangs

encountering such problems.
i'd be doing my thing on my pc, and suddenly i hear a 'click' - and after few seconds, my pc hangs. have to restart it by presssing reset button.

the 'click' is from the HDD. this click is when u switch of the computer, that 'click' is heard. i've got few HDD, and i've disconnected one by one, realised it's coming from my primary one (with OS on it).

i tot it was my overclocking. so i ran it back on stock settings, i still encountered the same problems.

could it be my PSU? powerlogic atrix - i tot coz i've been OCing and using this PSU (which ppl claim to be lousy) i tot my power supply wasn't stable.

or could it be my HDD is dying?

thanks for ur time

(never did bother asking him about our previous arrangement to COD in summit)

from this point on, i got pretty fed up. pmed him few times, which he checked but never read, and finaly when i asked him is he interseted to sell or is he just jerking me around... he replied, no let's not do this deal. he's not interseted in selling.

so yeah. whoever wants to deal with this chap. beware.

PS: i was accused for being rude, whilst i knew i wasn't even up til now.

D40 or D50?

hey,
i'm a beginner to photography and i was deciding on a d50 or d40.

d40 is lightweight, easy to use, cheap, etc however, it can only autofocus on af-s lenses

d50 i heard is compatible with all lenses. for long term use and upgradability, between these TWO cameras which do u suggest.

i'd appreciate if u don't suggest other than this two if it's more expensive. budget is RM2500+-.

PS: d50 is about 2 years old right?
RMA- Manufacturer or Reseller?

LYN forumers sell items in garage sale, saying, for example

3 day personal warranty
lifetime warranty - RMA urself

question is- WHERE TO RMA from? the shop? or the manufacturer- kingston/ apacer?

most of the time, forumers dont' give the shop tehy bought it from.

reason i ask, my freind just sent his ADVANCE MODULES RAM for RMA, they were quite pissed with him, saying that he should have sent it to the SHOP he bought it from.

and here the shop says, RMA directly with manufacturer...

so WHICH IS WHCIH?

also, if i buy RAM frrm forumers, how to RMA?

my freind who runs a shop, says that KINGSTON and APACER doesn't accpet direct from end users.
so HOW man...
