Can't connect recently

I don't know if I have to post this in the Network thread or here but I guess I will try here first. Ok here goes, last thursday, my connection was normal and suddenly my house had a Blackout and from that moment, my modem start to not able to connect to internet. The "DSL" light keeps on blinking and fail. Then, I tried to connect it without splitter. It also don't work. So, I took off my modem cable from the main wire and attach it back to my splitter. And it works after that? Then, when every time when I close my modem and re-open it, it won't be able to connect. Until, I unplug my modem cable from splitter and unplug splitter from the main wire, and plug in modem cable in the main wire for a few seconds, then unplug again and plug everything back into normal using splitter then, I can connect. What is happening? Is it streamyx or something is jacked up? Please help me someone. Help is appreciated.

Barbell

When comes to Barbell(Straight bar), they have Olympic Barbell and the Standard Barbell. Olympics require 2" weight plates to fit inside and Standard barbells only fits for 1" weight plates which is standard. Olympic barbells are mostly longer and heavier than Standard barbell. The weight capacity for Olympic barbell is also far more higher than Standard Barbell. Since I already bought all my weight plates and bars the standard one, I don't feel like investing into Olympic's(Cost a bomb and need to renew all my 1" plates into 2" plates ZOMG). May I ask any experienced user here who use Standard Barbell have experienced with bending? Actually my target is to reach 200kg for the Standard Barbell but I am afraid it will bend. I bought my barbell in Fitness Concept, 60" Standard Barbell which weigh around 7kg. Any suggestion or solution? Thanks for helping.

How much a weight a dumbbell (MaXX) can support?

I bought the MaXX Fitness 10kg adjustable dumbbell and has been progressing. Now I wanted to add more weights but how much can a dumbbell fit? Anyone here who bought the same dumbbell know? They have 0.5kg, 1.25kg, 2.5kg, 5kg, 10kg, 20kg+ weight plates. Can a dumbbell fit for 50kg? As in 10kg x 4 + 5kg x 2. Because I wanted to get all the weight plates once and for all and no need to buy again when I need to increase weight. Also, the MaXX fitness have rubberized and the regular stonish weight plates. Rubberized are way more expensive, will the other type rust? If they won't rust, I will get them instead of the rubberized one. Thanks in advanced.
