Remote event and callback

I have 3 project (Server, RemoteAPI(Something like API hosted on a server) , Client).

The problem i'm facing is that, there's an event in RemoteAPI i wish to fire, but I'll like to register the event in client, so that every event that fired will return to client, but so far all the event still fire on server side. I wish to implement the event in client side. Wonder is it possible?

False memory report on opensuse 11

Hi there everyone. I had an opensuse 11 running on my laptop with 1GB of RAM previously. On top of that i'm running 2 suse linux inside vmware and when i'm running the vmware, I checked it on the "Gnome System Monitor" it shows that i'm using 500MB of the RAM but the whole system is just very slow.

So later i decided to add another 1GB of RAM, though the "Gnome System Monitor" shows 500MB. After added the 1GB of RAM there is no more lacking in the system.

So i'm wondering is there something wrong with the "Gnome System Monitor" ? (btw i have tried conky and top command all shows the same ressult)

netbeans installation problem on opensuse 10.3

Hi,recently i have downloaded netbeans 6.1 and when i try to install it on my linux it shows me another installer/onstance is already running. Is there anyone facing the same problem? By the way i am running JDK 6

2's complement binary to hexadecimal

Hi, everyone. I do not know is this a right place to ask this question, but i think most of the folks here, are able to answer my question. Here goes my question: 11100110 convert to 2's complement then to hexadecimal. I am wondering do i need to convert 11100110 to 00011010 then from there convert to hexadecimal or straight away from 11100110 to hexadecimal? Which is the right way to do?

linux home server setup,with a wireless router

Hi,
I have a question, i want to setup a home server with Ubuntu. I have DHCP and DNS setup for my Linux machine. The problem is the wireless router, i disable the dhcp and dns on the router, and i want my Linux machine to act as a dhcp and dns server.
But it seems that, other comp connected to the router couldn't get IP address from my linux machine. Wondering wat's wrong

assembly- negative and division question

Hi, i have been googleling around the solution for my doubt but couldn't find any. Following is my problem:
1) I will like to check for 2 integer value is negative and which is not.
2) After doing division, i will like to have the quotient and remainder , together in a floating point unit?
By the way i am using MIPS architecture.

Hi, recently i found that there is a problem with my opensuse 10.3, everytime when i wanted to run a jnlp file using jws it will keep on showing me error, stating that it has crashed....for instance try running some jnlp file from this web site : http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart/demos.html

opensuse eat alot of memory

Hi guys i juz installed opensuse 10.3 with KDE but later i found out that it consume too much memory below is the result of "top". How can i decrease the memory load?

Hi, juz wan 2 know how come i can't set my firewall zone to external zone for my ipw? it seems that everytime i select external zone and click finish it will go back to no zone,all trafic blocked. How to solve it?

Hi guys, hope i am not asking a stupid question. I will like to know how can i compile a EJB file by using command prompt or ant. In the command prompt i hav set the path to the JDK bin folder but i just wouldn't recognise J2EE library for eg:javax.ejb.

upload and download from directory

Hello, i am now stuck in a part where i allow user to upload music to my server but the move_uploaded_file($a,$b) doesn't seem workin, but when i use image it works fine, having problem with music.
and it seems that when upload image file and print the file tmp_name it will show but with music it doesn't hav.
how to deal with it?

Recently i download a movie but the movie have 2 sound, and i cannot select L or R channel for that. so i want to ask is there any software can erase one of the audio it is playing?
