WTA difference between N53sv and A53Sv

hey guys, just want to ask abt the difference between N53Sv, and the A53Sv, i5 versions. Want to know the difference between build quality of the case, the keyboard, the cooling of both laptops and the LCD of both laptops.

Okay, need to get a tablet device for work purposes (no, ipad or galaxy tab won't cut it)
So far i'm being offered the lifebook T4310 for RM4.8k

Price is high (extremely) for the specs, but since it has a excellent multitouch screen (from the reviews) don't think i'm left with much of a choice...
the thing is i'm buying this laptop from a software company and that's the price they're selling me. when to the shops in JB and couldn't get a quotation for this tablet...

you guys got anything? (price i got from lelong is RM4488)

Problems connecting to internet

Hey guys just bought a new wireless router and after setting up, I'm having some problems connecting to the internet with my Asus G53jw (using atheros wifi card) I have one computer and another laptop (S42) connected to the router. S42 is using wireless (intel5300 card) while the computer is using LAN (btw using my S42 to post now)

I'm pretty sure the network itself has no problem, I can transfer files between S42 and the computer. I'm pretty sure its between my G53jw and my wireless. (just tried, can't transfer files between my G53jw and anything... ) The windows message just tells me "no internet access" sometimes it comes back, but its on and off....

I've tried reinstalling my drivers for my atheros card and scanning for viruses using trend micro....

Anybody got an idea why this is happening?

in the longkang outside my house. Not sure if they are chickens or some other species of birds... but the thing is... how do I take care of them? What to feed them, how to give them water? Any ideas? I tried giving some raw rice which is pounded into smaller bits, but one of them tried like abit... then eat anymore.... (there are 2 of them btw)

hm... need give them like a lamp overhead to provide heat?

Need Help Choosing Laptop

Argh... which should I choose?
The N82JQ has i7-720, GT335M, 640GB HDD, and its a 14" (1336x768)
the SXPS has i7-720(same) 4670 (weaker iirc) 400GB (not important to me), 15.6" Full HD, Bluray, Backlid keyboard

Could say that full HD and bluray is overkill but... its nice to have it la...
in terms of graphics performance i'm happy with any card stronger than my 9600m GT (BenQ S42)
and the processor on both is complete overkill bah.... but again... nice to have it...

Both warrenty is 2 years, (sxps one goes until 2012)

So should i get a new laptop? Or a second hand laptop with all the bling bling features? I mean, whatever problem the sxps has i can let the dell warrenty service handle it right? (If they are as good as I hear...)

My budget is 4K max, that's why i'm not really going for the A42Jv... or the Y460... the sxps is current around 4.3K... but you know all those bling bling really sucks you in. I dam regret never get the sxps when was clearing stock that time... hais....

All please help me! Still got time before Finals (Holland~~~) So please help help
my brain now gonna die before world cup finals.....

Well, looks like the Germans decide to contest with the iPad, creating their own WePad. (Which just looks like a rounder iPad)

On paper the WePad does show that it has more muscle than the iPad, with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, 11.6" 1366x768 display and 2 USB Slots and the cost of a 16GB model with Wifi is around RM2000. (Full specs here)
So must it run as seamless as the iPad to be an effective iPad killer, or does it not matter? Certainly its German creators are very confident.
Imo the addition of the webcam and USB ports makes it viable as a iPad killer.

Death of Consoles?

Hey guys, don't know if you heard this yet. In US there's this new service called onlive

To summarised, the main idea is to stream the video onto the PC/Mac/Tv. So all the information of the game is stored onto the servers and the processing is done at the servers before the image is streamed to the screen. So you can play crysis on ultra settings as long as you have a blazing fast internet.

Of course there will be alot of complications, heck i don't think i can name them all, things like price will be a main factor. Will we have to buy the individual titles itself? (i mean since ~~all~~ most of us get ours from our good friend jack) Would we pay for this service even if we have super fast internet? I can imagine this service would be quite costly, unless the games are bombarded by advertisements.

On the upside, this means those using laptops/computers would not have to install anything thus clogging up our, oh-so-precious-and-ever-running-out hdd space. This could also mean we can use google's chrome OS to play the latest titles. (8 seconds to start gaming! )

Imho, if the pricing and infrastruture is there, I would definately go for this service. What about you guys?

First off, i have no idea whether this is normal or not, but since i used to be able to run games like mirror's edge and now am not able to.... i require some assistance...

from my understanding, physical mem = RAM. so total = cached + free right? please tell mi if i'm wrong.....

Logitech V450 nano Auto scrolling problem

When i'm using the mouse, (V450 nano) the mouse will auto right scroll by itself. is it a hardware problem or software. I tried uninstalling the setpoint thingy, but still having the problem.

Anyway to fix it?

I've tried troubleshooting with logitech, which includes changing the batteries, changing the surface on which the mouse is on and changing the location of the reciever. I've done all three but the right scroll still comes on and off.......

They said other electrical device, but the only things around are my phone, 2 amps and a speaker. This things will interfer with the mouse?
